Do I need to wear gloves when using it?

I highly recommend that you wear gloves. I have developed an allergy to the product after using it several years. Once you develop an allergy it does not go away. It builds up in your system and anytime you come in contact with it you will have an allergic reaction. Wear gloves.

Can you add water to make it softer and liquidy consistency

yes - I use water to smooth as I am sculpting. I have never tried to make it liquidy. However, once it hardens - water will not soften it.

I assume this is can be under water once cured; however, I can't see anywhere that that is for sure the case. Please help.

Yes this can absolutely be under water. It can be used to repair aquariums, build under water models and any number of uses that are subject to submersion. This product will even cure under water if necessary.

Aves apoxy sculpt vs magic sculpt -- comparison pros and cons?

I have only used magic sculpt. I think it is the same. You can smooth it with water, and has a semi-gloss finish. The 4 pound deal on this is much cheaper. I plan to try it.
