I came across some really useful ones and found this company(Precision Instruments). Anybody who has dealt with torque wrenches and if you haven't, you will find out that you get what you pay for. In this case it was also at a decent price considering that some of the other popular brand wrenches that are made in china (plastic and steel combinations boo!) are overpriced. I couldn't be more impressed with it and this is coming from a guy with the highest expectations of equipment. This is a real review by a guy who loves to work on cars and do it right the first time! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ nice crisp click on achieving torque setting *by M***O on February 28, 2015* Appears to be a very well made American tool. Calibration was only (10) weeks old, smooth action, nice crisp click on achieving torque setting. Case is also well done, USA made and holds the tool securely. Item was shipped quickly and was very well packaged. I was so pleased with this tool and service, I recently placed an order for another with different torque range. (in lbs). ### ⭐⭐ after a year and a half, not so good *by K***J on September 11, 2015* Edited Review after 1 and a half years of ownership. This tool gets used in a home automotive shop, roughly 100 times a year, so fairly light duty, but involved jobs.This wrench just does not inspire confidence while using it. I have checked it against bench tests and it checks out fine, but when you go to use it with proper technique, it just doesnt give good feedback or it sometimes misses the setting all together, often can feel the bolt stretching. The best way to describe the action on this wrench is 'gooey'.I bought a set of three of these to replace my old set of Craftsman microtorks, and honestly I had better feed back with the cheap craftsman. The Precision Instruments 1/2" drive one does seem to work better than this 3/8th".I have ordered a 3/8" Snap On to replace this wrench.
