I bought these as I wanted some fairly long screws to attach garden fence panels to wooden posts. I have used nails before but you end up damaging the wooden panels with hammer blows if you are not careful. I have used brackets before but these always seem to flap about so I thought I would use garden decking screws this time. I am so pleased with these ones. Not only were they excellent value but they look really good too as they are painted green which should help stop them rusting and actually looks good in the fence. At 75 mm they were just the right length to go through the sides of the panels and into the 4 inch square posts. They are easy to use and I did not have any problems with them bending or the heads being weak. I did drill a pilot hole in the panels to avoid splitting or the screw going in at an odd angle. Anyway there did the job I wanted very well and I still have loads left over for other garden projects.

These are pozidrivly wonderful screws. They have an amazing smooth texture and metallic colour with a clever spiral shape going down the length finished with a perfect point that makes them go in really easily. I particularly admire the decorative cross-shaped slots located on the top which is a nice touch these days. Besides their sleek design and excellent finish I discovered they are also very handy for holding decking boards onto ground frames. Not too long nor too short, they're quite easy to use too. If you're after a damn good screw I highly recommend them to end all your lock-down frustrations.

Not quite 75mm as stated (see photo).The heads stripped too easily.I bought as I ran short after using lovely wickes ones, but this was a mistake. I now have to return them, as not fit for purpose.I’ve now just purchased from wickes directly, as I should have done in the first place.Don’t waste time and money on these ones.

These did the job and were a decent price when availability of decking screws was limited nationally due to so many people being on furlough etc and getting jobs done.They weren’t fully self-drilling in that they didn’t have a cutting point, but they went in fine to treated pine without a pilot hole. I had more problems with the heads rounding off than I do with other screws of this type that I’ve had before, so probably won’t buy again, but not major problems.

I use these screws, in different sizes, for fencing - attaching rails to posts and for putting up the feather-edge boards. I prefer screws to nails as, although it takes a little longer, any repairs/replacement is much simpler. These screws are ideal and do not rust.Falcon service is excellent and delivery was prompt.
