I bought this because my riding lawn mower just quit on me and wouldn't start back up so I think it had trash in it and I tried to take the carburetor off and take the bowl off and clean it but I couldn't get the bowl off and I had spark I had fresh gas I had compression so I knew it was pretty much trash in the gas but I couldn't get to it. These carburetors are cheap enough that it's easier to just go ahead and buy one and put it on there you will be shocked how good these carburetors are even if you have to put one on every other year.Simple to put on just take pictures of your linkages so you remember exactly which way they go don't think oh I can remember that because I promise you you probably will not remember it by the time you get back around to it. Pictures are worth a million when you're trying to repair something like this. No I'm not a mechanic but I'm not afraid to try to and I got to run in and cut grass so works for me. I put it on first crank it got gas up to the carburetor second time it started right up and runs real smooth no adjustments necessary don't waste your time people just buy one I promise you you will not regret it.

Bought this for my 2011 John Deere D100 riding mower. Everything seems to match the original. Choke plate got pushed in during shipment, but it slides out to easily adjust.The throttle doesn’t seem to have a spring to allow it to idle. Maybe the linkage just needs an adjustment. Other than that it works great. The carb I replaced was aftermarket, this was closer to original as how the fuel line was shaped. The spark plug & fuel hose with clamps was a nice bonus. Didn’t use the supplied filter, my mower already has an automotive style inline filter that should be good for a good long time.

FITS BRIGGS LIKE OEM CARB. ENGINE RUNS GREAT AGAIN.
