Our kids build a lot with duplos and further more they challenge me to help them create cool stuff. We have other base plates that don't stack. We got this to allow for more diverse builds. It does what it is designed to do, though for the price I only bought one.

Excellent product and works perfectly with both the large Mega Bloks and Duplo bricks. After searching the different available products and scouring the reviews, I was having a difficult time finding a building base that worked with the larger bricks. I bought these after reading the reviews and learning that others have had success but I also encountered some contradictory info, so I was expecting to be dissapointed. After receiving this base and using both the large Mega Bloks and Duplo bricks, I can tell you with certainty that they both work great. My toddler is loving it, as I’m using command strips to attach to our play table. The base is made from a hard plastic and seems just as sturdy as any of our bricks, but only time will tell how long it lasts with a toodler that loves to see ‘how things work’.Overall, I couldn’t be happier with the product. I would defintely recommend if your looking for a building base that works with the larger bricks.

I was hesitant to purchase this because there were conflicting reviews about being compatible with mega bloks. Some said they were compatible and others were mad they were not so it was confusing. Because it was a flash sale I went for it… I am here to report my mega blocks first builders set and standard bag of megablocks fits perfectly with this board. My photo shows the base upside down. They have a nice, sturdy grip. I also included a standard Dr. Seuss book for a reference for size. I went on Amazon to purchase a board like this and all the others were $15 plus, getting this at seven or eight dollars was a steal, I will buy more

You can build Duplo under this, but the plate is so big and thin it is flimsy. The work around is using 2 plates which equalls the width of a normal duplo block. After using 2 plates it is sturdy to build on top of. Using just 1 plate as a second story is frustrating because the plate dips down and just falls off when you build on it. So basically by an even number if you like tall builds. I still give it 5 stars because you can actually build under the plate like it says.

UPDATE: I recently purchased a different brand of baseplates and they were not stackable and they were thinner. I returned and re-ordered Strickly Briks brand as the quality and value are so great! I highly recommend.This baseplate works great with Lego brand duplos as well as off brand legos that are the same size as the Lego brand! These are thick and sturdy and allow littles to make stacking levels. Great alternative to the big brand name for a more affordable price point.

I got this during the lightening deal, so because of that it was worth the price. The LEGO Duplo blocks fit perfectly on here, however keep in mind that it’s not as easy for younger hands to build into it. It was a bit challenging for my two year old to build the blocks into the base, but after many many play opportunities he does it more easily now. Other than that it seems sturdy and durable enough for many many uses.

There are lots of great building sets out there (Lego, etc.) but not many of them come with large baseplates to use as the starting point for building. This baseplate fills a need! It's less expensive than the baseplates made by the major brands, but it is 100% compatible with them.Another advantage of this kind of baseplate is that it allows your kids to play with their blocks on a carpet or other surface that otherwise would not be very block-friendly.This seems well manufactured and strong and we've been very happy with it.

My girls were so excited to get this - we ordered two, put them next to each other, and built a two story house with attached farm! The reason we got these is because we play on a carpeted floor, and some buildings or towers fall over on the uneven surface; we also have Lego Duplo sets - a farm and a jungle, and it’s so much easier to build the entire set, on one plate, and not have everything moving around or falling over/apart.Exactly what we needed!
