How can 2 sides be excatly the same?ace** A: The die do have unusual numbering. However, I found that I could read them quickly after only a dozen throws. The image on the product page shows the following: Left Die: Top = 3, Left Face = 2, Right Face = 1 Right Die: Top = 5, Left Face = 4, Right Face = 6 As with more standard six-siders, opposite faces add to 7. Thus, 6 and 1 are on opposite faces, etc. There are four different slot lengths on these dice. Slot length, however, has nothing to do with count. If there is a slot of any length on a face, that slot counts as one. The count of the slots on each face is the value of that die face. I did a Chi Squared statistical analysis of these dice (I'm weird like that) and found them to be balanced. That finding is VERY unusual. Most die which I test are unbalanced. These are my "go to" dice for playing Traveller (I'm currently using Mongoose books).
