Lifesaver!!
This thing is absolutely AMAZING!! My 14.7lb male cat is currently recovering from bladder surgery. Knowing he was going to be on crate rest for 10-14 days and that being in an e-collar would be difficult in a cage, I looked into these. I’m SO glad I did because it is absolutely PERFECT!! Extremely soft, stretchy for putting on the legs, is well-made, easy to put on even my cat who is not cooperative at all, does not get wet or dirty when he uses the bathroom, completely covers his incision, fits him great even though it says it goes to 14lbs (might be accounting for long hair kitties, mine is medium), and finally the color options are cute!Tip! Buy 2!! It is normal for cats to accidentally release their bladder post-surgery. You’ll want a second one to change them into after wiping them down while the first one is being cleaned and dried. I’m so glad I thought to get a second one because I didn’t know this and it happened! One note I have is that I highly recommend you never leave your cat unsupervised in the recovery suit. Please change them into a soft cone if you’re leaving the house. The first day I went back to work after my cat’s surgery, I checked on him with the camera and saw on the last recording that he had gotten his back legs tangled in the recovery suit, managed to get to the litter box, but then he flipped it over on himself and hit his head on the side of the cage. Thank goodness I had a cat sitter neighbor on call who went over and checked him, changed him, etc. Needless to say, I never leave him alone in the suit anymore. He is able to get around the cage in the soft cone. He’s only in there if I’m not home or I’m doing chores etc. So he gets plenty of time on my bed in the suit.

Great option for healing kitties!
We purchased this recovery for our kittens for recovery from their spay and neuter. We did not want to use the hard plastic cones and both cats were able to work the soft cones off very quickly. These suits are cure and we really liked the cuff like material around the neck. It wasn’t too tight around and the rest of the suit fit well in a small. For reference both of our kittens had their surgeries at 5 1/2 months of age and both were between 5 and 6 pounds. We purchased two for each cat so that we could change them out every few days for washing and they were durable both through wear and washing. The Velcro closure also allowed for some measure of size adjustment. Neither cat loved wearing the recovery suit but they both adjusted fairly quickly. They were able to move easily in the suit and to successfully use the litter box without soiling or wetting the suit. All in all these recovery are great for protecting surgical areas while healing, they are cute, they are functional and well made for their purpose and we found them to be a great value for the money and far better than the cones.

Great! Just one thing to make sure!
It worked really great and helped my cat get through her recovery phase after getting spayed. It actually lasted really well despite my cat's attempt to rip through the gown. You can definitely expect this to last 2 weeks for sure, I had to keep it on my cat for 2weeks + 5 days, since her sutures didn't go well and we needed to get her stapled. It looks cute, and doesn't seem to warm up my cat to the point she feels hot. It definitely did bother her cause she couldn't groom herself, but this issue is probably just a overall issue with any gown. The gown we got at the vet was a tie-up one, where we would have to tie bowties multiple times on her back, which she refused the cooperate. This product just allows us to fit the cat's limbs and just velcro the back. The neck elastic is VERY important. Make sure this is always on securely cause the last day of her gown, I noticed her neck elastic was a little loose and I just shrugged it off. The next morning, I wake up to her looking naked after nearly 3 week of her with this gown on. It was pretty funny seeing her "naked" but at the same time, I was worried about her surgery site.Make sure!!!! The neck part is on securely all the time and this product is golden.

Great alternative to the cone
We just bought these for our six month old kittens who were just spayed. They came home from the vet with the Elizabethan collars, and they were miserable in them. They threw themselves around trying to get out of them and we were concerned about them opening their incisions. These little suits are well designed and fairly easy to put on. We bought the medium size and they fit our 6 pound cats perfectly. The material is soft and stretchy (especially after a wash). The cats can use the litter box with the suits on, but one of mine just walked in circles around the box until I took it off. Not a big deal. My only criticism is that the Velcro on the back is wide and very stiff. I cannot imagine it’s very comfortable for the cats, and it can stick to the material of the suit when you are putting it on, but otherwise these suits are a good alternative to the cone of shame.

Works great
My cat is 4lbs and about 6 months old. I ordered her a small and I'm glad I did. It's snug enough that it isn't gonna fall off but loose enough that she can breathe. She was having a hard time with the cone she was constantly fighting and acting crazy trying to get the cone off (she is semi feral so she was very extra about it). With this suit she doesn't run around or try fight it she just lays around. She is supposed to rest and this is actually helping a lot. She has only been wearing it for a couple hrs but this is the calmest she has been since she came home from getting spayed. The Velcro is secure, she can still use the litter box and everything but it keeps her surgery site covered. It also has a drawstring neck which is helpful for adjusting. Seems surprisingly well made for the price. In a couple days I'll wash it and if it doesn't hold up, I'll update my review but I don't think washing it will be a problem. She looks so cute, even with her angry face! I highly recommend for anyone with a cat getting abdominal surgery!
