Superb book. With a bit of History then sections on places to visit that stay true to the original Route 66 these include motels hotels and RV sites as well as diners and of course , the most interesting places worth visiting along the route. Each of the 202 places has its own QR code which can be scanned and links you to the official website for more info such as opening hours , directions , etc. I found these QR codes really useful . Highly recommended book.

Have just returned from a three week vacation having travelled the full east to west Route 66. This book was perfect for the trip coupled with the EZ Guide Route 66 (5th Edition). Both books were invaluable on the trip and go hand in hand.

For someone not overly confident that you'll find all of the historic route available today, this is excellent.With the added bonus of QR codes for all the landmarks and a sound track jukebox an outstanding read.

I was given this as a gift in preparation for the trip we were planning and this guide was SO helpful!We took time to sit down, look through everything in the guide as well as YouTube vlogs we had watched to try and make sure we didn’t miss anything we wanted to see, and we then added anything that wasn’t mentioned in the guide. It took us a while to tab everything, but it really was worth it and this guide became our bible before and during our trip.We stayed at the Wigwam motel in San Bernardino and we were shocked to see it being sold there, as well as the west to east version!Thank you for creating this incredible thorough guide, you helped make the trip as incredible as I always hoped it would be! This book will now be treasured as great memento from our incredible trip!
