Simply the best utv trailer but $$$!
This is the best utv/atv trailer you can buy, in my opinion. Hated to spend so much but shelled out the dinero reluctantly anyway, despite some reviews that I felt were unfair. The unit came (finally) and it proved to be very well packed and all there. Some of the components like the axles are heavy and cumbersome and it takes 2 people really to team up and put it together. I guess it took us most of the day but we got it done. The directions were good up until we tackled the electric wiring. That took some figuring.Once done, it leaked in some hard rain we had here in Montana and checking, I saw it was coming from around the bolts holding the railing on. Tightened them all around and applied some good flashing cement. No more leaks. Some people paint theirs and it looks good. I elected to use some Rhino spray on the top. Maybe later, I might paint mine, too or Rhino the inside. This unit holds a bunch of stuff, inside and outside, is very well balanced and pulls really well. It's tough, practical and functional. Is it worth the money? I think so and expect to get alot of use out of it.

Decent tandem axle trailer but buyer beware!
We bought this model through Cabelas for use during moose hunting season in Ak. Our inaugural run had the trailer loaded with about 500lbs of gear and traveling about 8 miles over well established but classic back country ATV trails complete with ruts, bumps, bogs, hills, some mud, some dry stretches. Our average speed was 1-5mph based on immediate conditions. The Positives: Overall the aluminum trailer box is solidly built and capacity is great. The lid is a must for keeping gear clean/dry on dusty or muddy trails. The Negatives: The tongue bolts directly to the front of the trailer frame using 4 bolts through the tongue assembly and into the front main frame steel. The design of the tongue assembly and apparentl quality of the steel is insufficient for the loads placed on this assembly. The tongue bracket substantially failed with the steel nearest the outside 2 bolts cracking and falling away and the remaining framework showed substantial deformation and almost certain imminent failure. We had to return to civilization with the tongue assembly to fabricate a new one from 2" box steel in order to retrieve the trailer from the wilderness. Its obvious the design intended to reduce the overall size of the trailer for shipping but the engineering needs to be reconsidered. At a minimum, the tongue needs to be strengthened and a walking beam axle on this tandem axle trailer would go a long way to improving its trail performance while reducing the loads placed on the tongue assembly. If you towed this trailer on improved dirt roads or similar, it would likely be fine, but it's not suitable for the unimproved trails your ATV is accustomed to. We returned the trailer for a full refund, deciding that for the price, we shouldn't have to re-engineer it on our own!

Great for shipping
Would give it a 5 but only after you purchase and reinforce the flimsy tongue as it is bolted on the front. Great for shipping, bad for the end user. I have two, and they are sturdy sealed aluminum boxes. Also having issues with the wheels bending out when you hit rocks (at low speed). They are torsion and flex the steel at the wheel. Must bend to straight after each use.
