Westinghouse7800300 Jax Ceiling Fan, 56-Inch, Brushed Nickel Black Blades

I have been used to these styles of fans in India. No cords no lights no nonsense - one that actually blows some air while using it. This one did that perfectly. At 7000 ish CFM this moves a lot of air. I keep the air conditioning to minimum and let the fan do it’s work - the savings show up in the electric bill. In peak Texas summer the electric bill is only 40$ a month. I’m super impressed with these that have 5 of them in my house - one in each room. It looks classy too and 80$ a piece it’s a good value for money. Hopefully these work for a long time. Super happy with these fans and the best I have used in USA.

The installation instructions were very concise. Fit, finish, and quality are high. The steel blades and tight mounting tolerances contribute to zero wobble and very low noise. And the motor and bearings are silent. As I have the fan mounted on a vaulted ceiling, the 4 speed wall switch is perfect for the application. I am pleased with the engineering design, quality of build, and functionality.

This is the 5th version of this fan I've bought. I had 4 of them in a previous house. ( 2 inside, 2 outside) and they literally last for as long as the house. I can not say enough good things about this product. Not fancy, but very efficient.

I installed not long ago, therefore I cannot say much about durability. The finish is nice and it fits well with the colors on my patio, (that is why I chose it).The speed of the fan is not the greatest, I have a different one at another location, and that thing really gets fast and loud.The switch is complete trash, something was wrong with it and I ended up trashing it. The switch has the fan speed indicators painted on it, however the one I received was wired or soldered backwards. Setting 1 was the fastest and 4 was the slowest. I ultimately wired it with an ON/OFF switch and called it good.I am sure the fan will be better at moving air as the temperature outside drops, which was not the case in the dead of summer.I've installed my fair share of ceiling fans, that is why I gave it five stars on installation.(It should be noted the fan is on an eight foot ceiling, which is not that far away from us sitting under it).

When they say industrial I don’t think they mean heavy duty or anything like that, it means Spartan and rather flimsy looking. On the other hand it’s worth the little money I paid for it because it works well as long as I keep it on the high setting. It is reversible so you can use it extract air from your space, assuming you use it in an industrial or outdoor environment. Sounds like a chopper so don’t use it in your home. The slider control included it’s trash, get a better one - besides, the lower speeds won’t move enough air to make it effective. I installed mine in my gazebo but I replaced the down tube to bring it down closer with a 24” tube and it works well, no vibrations.

It’s a nice looking fan, but it lasted all of two months before it died. Quite disappointing. The air movement was underwhelming, it basically just spun and made noise until it didn’t.

I bought this for the first time roughly 5 to 6 years ago for my home in AZ. I didn't need a light in the great room so this option was great for the purpose. Overall value and price was top notch and energy efficient in comparison to many others on the market. Moved years later cross county to a new home with another large great room with vaulted ceilings. This time the room had pot lights so I did not want nor need a fixture with a light. I was so happy to find this fan still available and at the same low price. The current room is the 'great room' that is an open space with the dining and opens into the kitchen. This fan is so powerful you can feel the air movement all the way into the kitchen without it being to powerful over the stove area.

The look beautiful and work fantastic in the Arizona heat. No more fan droop. The metal blades are great.

Using this fan in a room 20'x12' with 10' walls. Excellent air flow although my wall controller seems backwards for speed control.

I don't like the speed control you will need a big box to put it in but it works well

todo está perfecto, pero de los 4 niveles de velocidad, hay una gran diferencia entre el nivel 4 (mayor) y el nivel 3 , entonces si no lo quieres en el 4 y lo colocas en el 3, terminarás volviendo al 4 por falta de flujo de aire, el nivel 2 y 1 ni se diga....Lo recomiendo si siempre quieres fljo alto de aire ya que es muy bueno en eso.
