1. calibration required in all three liquids for relatively accurate readings (required when opening new, if batteries removed/replaced, and all the other reasons listed in package directions)2. Read the display after about ONLY 5 seconds, while gently stirring the meter in the sample3. if testing acidic samples the next reading will likely be inaccurate, even when meter is rinsed. MUST dip and take sample from 6.86 solution before testing anymore samplesNot sure why this is so highly reviewed. This meter gave readings of 4-9 PH from the same sample of liquid.(note: litmus paper can help confirm ph. some distilled water is labeled as having minerals added, which likely will effect ph.)

The product was easy to calibrate initially and worked well until the batteries needed to be changed. After the batteries were changed it never worked correctly. It would show the pH of my tap water as 2.4 or something like that which I knew was wrong. I searched through the questions and reviews of the product for clues as to what to do. This kind of problem is a failure of the company to provide information about the ongoing use of their product and is not uncommon. It is very frustrating for customers who are concerned as much about the longevity of a product as the price.

Didn't last an entire grow season. I compared it readings with another better quality PH meter when I bought it and it was about anywhere from .3-.5 off consistently. I used it weekly for watering and now it either randomly reads a number between zero and 10 or stays at zero. Really cheap. Annoying when you need to use it and its broke and you have to buy another. I would not buy this brand again, I'm going to purchase a higher quality product. Also the recalibrate button is right next to the power button (not ideal).

I received my ph meter within 2 days of ordering. When it arrived, it had all ph buffers, case, and everything included. Followed instructions, and the Ph meter is so accurate, made gardening so much simpler. Must have!

I mean it reads a number but it can’t be accurate. I Tried to calibrate it. Just goes to 4.0 no matter what I do. Way out of range. I compared it to a real test kit. I knew digital was To good to be true.The seller does offer a $30 gift card if I contact them. I didn’t spend that much on the meter. Doesn’t really make sense.

Purchased Meter. it worked, easy to use and read. it works for what it was intended. Happy with the product for the price.
