I used this gold leaf on small collages. It came out beautiful! The gold leaf is very fragile but very worth it.

I tried 4 others, this was the best as it stays on the backing so easy to place.

I've never worked with gold leaf before but had seen a video on how to use this one that comes on a transfer paper - I could see how much more difficult handling gold leaf would be without the transfer paper. I managed to get a large antique mirror frame covered - but I probably could have used some proper lessons prior to starting - amazing quality and luster. If it is your first time working with gold leaf - you might want to start off with a small project with little to no decorative molding - I had a lot of decorative molding - which caused me to probably use far more gold leaf than would have been necessary if I had been more proficient - that is not the products fault, but my own. Too - this company's adhesive - a little goes a long way - I managed to cover my large mirror quite a few times - but the sealer - I could have used a much larger bottle of. Both the adhesive and sealer are great products as well as the gold leaf.

I've used several other brands in the past, but this was the easiest gold leaf I've ever used. recommended.

This product is thinner than the OLD WORLD brand imitation gold. When applied on flat surface, it is still prone to breakage. The color is not much different and the price is higher. I am going back to the other brand.

I love Simple Leaf's ease of use, and for most of my pieces, the effect is equal to actual gold leaf.

Unfortunately I wasn't happy at all with the product, I use leaf quite often and found that the backing, which is very stiff, was stronger than the surface adhesive (Mona Lisa) and made it nearly impossible to cover the surfaces I was working on (often curved) this resulted in too much waste,
