So, I usually don't do long reviews but I love this so much! I initially bought this as a $1 packet mask at my local dollar general. The ingredients looked really good so I thought I'd give it a try. After that first use I BECAME OBSESSED. I had to figure out what the brand was (package didn't say) and where to find it. I did the tiniest amount of research before I found it on Amazon. I saw that it was a Freeman mask and wasn't surprised. They're amazing! By far my favorite inexpensive skin care brand! What really made me happy was it was a twin pack!! This stuff works miracles. I'm not exactly sure what my skin type is I do have the average amount if blemishes nothing too crazy. My skin tends to go with the seasons now. When I was in my teens I did suffer with the infamous forehead acne which is where I primarily break out now. But using this stuff has helped so much! My skin has zero pimples currently and it's so soft and hydrated. I do use Shea Moisture's African black soap line combined with this product and they just work so great together!

I love this stuff. Charcoal is a natural pulling agent and works wonders. I could not figure out why my acne was getting so out of control. I was getting big under the skin type of zits. Almost like a mini boil. At one point, i think i had 4 or 5 at once. That is when I finally broke down and got some face scrub stuff from walmart. I bought Freeman's Charcoal and black sugar scrub as well as another product by Garnier that has avocado and oatmeal in it. After a few experiments, i found the best result is to use the charcoal and black sugar scrub in the shower and let it sit as long as possible. Then when I got out of the shower, I would put the avocado and oatmeal scrub on my face, let it dried, washed it off, then got dressed. It seemed to work extremely well for a few days. Then my oiliness came back 3x more extreme, but no under the skin zits. Come to find out, it was our water that was making me break out. Once we replaced out water softener and used the facial scrubs again, my face was clean and drier than ever. I have extremely oily skin and this does the trick every time. No more alcohol face pads needed!!!

It's a nice scrub, seems to work well. Wish it didn't contain fragrance. Listen for the snap when closing the lid, I found mine does not close very easily. It's pretty thick so I don't think you'd have an issue with it spilling/leaking if it didn't seal; I store mine upside & discovered it hadn't sealed after the first time I'd used it & it didn't leak. But I think you may have an issue with it drying & hardening into a slump if it's consistently not sealed properly. I think it's a better deal than Yes To Tomatoes which is a smaller amount for a similar price & a much runnier product.

I use it all the time, notice dark spots fading away and minimizes pimples.

I love this scrub. Always feels like it's really good for my skin. I only use it in the morning. Might be too harsh to use both morning and night. Highly recommend!

My cousin let me try this while I was undergoing a stem cell transplant and I have been hooked ever since! This is my very favorite scrub and I have tried many. This one is more abrasive than most people like but it was and is perfect for me. The chemo threw me into a menopause and then GVH gave me some ugly face polka dots. This scrub has removed all that (over time and with the help of lotions) as well as helped me tighten and firm my skin after 4 kids, gaining weight with cancer, then loosing 70 pounds from chemo. My skin has been through a ROUGH ride, and this scrub has been a large part of it's recovery!It smells like sugar (not charcoal) and kind of a warm vanilla. It leaves your skin feeling really, the cleanest you could ever imagine!
