Pelican 1750 Middle Pluck Foam. One Piece of Middle Pluck. 1" x 1" Squares

Cutting foam with electric knives becomes increasingly more difficult the longer the line is to be cut and the softer the foam. Pre-cut squares are much easier to work with and more accurate. 1" squares are ok... 1/2" squares would be super!

This product is great. Excellent fit in my Pelican 1750 case. MUCH easier than doing cutouts using and electric carver. I tried that method, and while I had a functional case it didn't have near the look I wanted. Tried this and it came out amazing, probably only took 10 minutes to configure total. I've attached a photo so you can see the finished product I wound up with.

The squares could have been smaller for a better fit for the rifle but it works as advertised. It does fit the case better than the foam pads that come with it,

I bought to securely pack a rifle, my 3 year old had a wonderful time plucking the 1” squares. I guess it was quite for awhile. Bought another one. Works great.

Fits the case perfectly. However, the pluck foam is hard to trim precisely the gun because of the perforations. Guns fit nice but, a solid piece of foam would be easier to work with and cut/trim exactly to the guns.

Bought this to replace the solid foam that came with the case that I cut for two rifles. With this I can remove the squares that I need and later, if taking a different gun, I can replace the removed blocks (using a small amount of contact glue) and reconfigure the foam time after time. Definitely a must for someone traveling with different guns. If you have a pelican case, this is essential.

The one inch squares are nice for some projects and a bit too big for other ones. I am using this with a scoped rifle and some accessories and it works well for me. I know a better look can be obtained using the solid foam pieces and a foam cutter/burner but I like the ease of pluck and pull foam. I closed the case overnight, removed the rifle and started plucking out the impression left in the foam before it expanded back out. I use pluck and pull foam for my camera cases and spotting scope cases as well.

Nice product. Used in a Pelican case to custom fit my Remington 970 for a trip. Works great - A little pricey. But Pelican is the best.
