My canon doesn’t have the right connection to make this adapter to work. I add m trying to transfer pics from camera to computer. I will talk to Best Buy before considering a return. Sorry I thought this would be perfect

Very cheaply made. Works only when it wants too like some sort of voodoo. Planned on returning but keep it around just in case My other one breaks. Very hit or miss, and sometimes doesn’t even recognize the port. When it does however it’s a amazing tool

My use is for transferring pix from my digital camera to my iPad while vacation traveling, so I don't lose the pix if I lose the camera or it becomes damaged. Plus I can see the pix on the bigger iPad screen. Very simple - plug the SD card into the adapter, plug into the lightning port on my iPad, then look for the adapter in photos (it shows as "No Name". Select pix, then transfer. It recognizes the pix on the SD that have already been transferred, so you only transfer new pix. Real easy, plug and play basically. I'm happy.

I bought this fully expecting to return it. The proper $50 apple adapter barely works. What hope does a knock off from a company I've never heard of have? I was blown away when I hooked up my audio interface and my 12 pro and it more or less functioned perfectly.There are a few little quirks. Every now and then I'll connect it and nothing will happen. No charging indicator on my phone, and no sign of life from my USB devices. An unplug/replug clears it up, and once things are actually connected it seems rock solid. It also doesn't work if I have a USB device attached when I plug it in. The ideal process seems to be: connect power to the camera adapter, plug the adapter into my phone, wait for the charging indicator to appear, replug if it doesn't, then connect my usb devices. This is WAY better than my actual apple adapter, which needs a powered hub to run my audio interfaces even when the adapter is connected to power and often has glitchy audio. Maybe my apple adapter is faulty but it's the 2nd one I've bought, and at $50 a pop I really don't want to buy another.I tried with multiple devices attached at the same time, which also works fine. The SD reader doesn't like one of my cards but it shows up if I angle it to put pressure on the contacts, and all of my other SD and micro SD cards are read without incident. If a micro SD and SD card are both inserted, only the SD shows up. I think this is typical for low end SD readers.This product has enough flaws that I normally wouldn't give it 5 stars, but given that it has more functionality and seems more reliable than the apple adapter at 2x the cost, 5 stars seems like an appropriate score.

Plugged it in and fried my SD card - now cannot be read by my camera.Beware, it’s awful!
