I do a lot of sewing and quilting, which requires a lot of pressing. This is so much more handy than having to pull out my ironing board.

I make bags, and I needed something easier than having to open and close my ironing board every time. It works good, the heat doesnt go through it--but it smells like I literally have sheep in my room when I use it. Maybe all wool mats smell bad? It does work good, but it is stinky when heat hits it.

Overall it seems to be of good quality, but I have not used anything like this in the past, so I don’t have anything to compare it to.

No problems at all! I used one as a pressing mat while on a job (film seamstress) and also use one to put under my blind hemmer to protect the table. Bought the larger size to put under my embroidery machine. Protects the table and cuts down on vibrations.. Works great for different purposes!
