The build quality is sturdy, stylish, and intuitively modular, as Tilta is known for - but the key reason I love this combination in particular is the combination of the built-in Arca Swiss in the camera cage, with the 15mm LWS Type VI rail mount base. The way it it slides right into place on the rail mount, and then can easily be quick released and stripped down in seconds to throw onto a DJI gimbal, with that same Arca Swiss lock, is what every solo cinematographer wants. No nuts and bolts for switching between Sticks, HH Rigs and Stabilizer Rigs = More valuable time and energy for flow state creativity, and artistic experimentation.So the quick release works well, awesome. But the thing that sets this combo apart from other quick releases, is the LWS Type VI, which allows perfect rail-to-lens Standard 85mm Height. This means accessories like follow focus gears, lens supports, and almost every matte box will be a perfect fit. AND you get the quick release feature, allowing best of both worlds. Very intuitive, meta design.EVERY other camera cage and15mm LWS Base combo I have tried (tried SEVERAL, hundreds of dollars experimenting...) has either required an additional plate under the cage for quick release (tilta has the built-in arca) or is simply designed with too large a gap between the camera and the rails, (namely, the arca/manfrotto tilta option) at least for the BM6K Pro, this doesn't work... leaving your lens height far too high for most accessories to fit snug and perform their job. Instead of continuing to jury rig different parts to get that working, just cop this cage, and this LWS base, and you're set. Optimal.The other accessories in this bundle are just nice to have- but that combo^ is the main reason this rocks.

The picture says it has a T5 SSD holder but it comes with a T7 SSD holder. My T5 is too big to fit in the T7 holder. Solid design though, just make sure your screws are tight. They tend to loosen often

I paid only $272 for the complete Tilta mount for the Bmpcc 6k Pro camera. I have saved $240 dollars because at the B&H store this complete set would cost me $512 dollars with taxes. This is my best purchase in this new year 2023. Thanks, thanks, thanks!
