Q: curious as to how old this coffee is. When was it roasted?

I don't see a roast date. Where is the roast date shown?

Q: I just received coffee with expiration date of Nov 2017. I'm sure previous bags have been vacuum packed, but this one clearly isn't. Shouldn't it be?

Oxidation happens when its not vacuum packed, so freshness may be affected. But if its sealed closed, it should be ok. You'll know when u brew 1st cup. If its tastes off, return it.
