Saw these and couldn't resist, I really like battery tealights and use them throughout the year for dinner parties, in the garden and for birthdays.These are an upgraded version of the bog standard battery tealights, they have a more realistic look and the warm flickering light is lovely.The overriding feature for me is the timer. Whatever time you turn it on, it will stay on for 6 hours, then go off for 18, this allows for them to come on the same time each day if you wish.

Unlike some LED tealights, these aren't wax, but plastic - and at first glance, and certainly in daylight, they look cheap and unconvincing, but of course they aren't designed to be seen in daylight, and in the evening and at night, in candle and tealight holders, they really come into their own.They give a much better light than any of my other LED tealights. the flicker is quite convincing, and in decorative holders they look great.I like the in-built timer function very much - 6 hours on and 18 hours off - which seems to work well. If you have a lot of these alight (ie: at Christmas) it saves a lot of time going around turning them all of and then all back on again.I switched one on as soon as they arrived yesterday, and it's still going strong well into its second 6 hour cycle - so it's all looking good.Recommended.

I wasn't impressed with these tea lights. Despite being an automatic timed light 6 stopped working within 3 days of use.

I love the ambiance tea lights give off but I'm nervous of the flames especially with having an acquisitive pooch and the expense over time of replacing as I normally choose less carcinogenic ones which a far more expensive, the battery variety are the cheaper alternative in the long run. To look at they do not look like they will not emit the same effect as the real thing but once lit and placed in a glass votive you would think it was as near to the real thing. Plus a collective of these give off a nice glow especially on a hearth of a fireplace. Now to use these there is a little switch in the base to turn on and they come with a battery inside. The negative here is they are supposed to be on for 6 hours and turn off for 18 hours but none of mine did this and the battery included seems to be a bit slimmer than the normal 2032 button batteries so doesn't last as long. This isn't a worry as I'm truly stocked up on such cell batteries as I use them for other devices. So it is a bug bare to turn all off and on but as I have a hearth full of fake candles it is only a few more to switch on.

Look good, easy to operate. Came with batteries.Overall build robust and compact.Great for creating a nice relaxing atmosphere without fear your cats or kids or dogs may get too curious and hurt themselves.Great for gifting and of course you can use them all round the house to create the particular lighting arrangements you want.

This is a perfectly nice set of fake wee candles.You get 12 in the set, and they have an internal timer so if you turn them on at 9pm, they'll switch themselves off at 3am, then come on automatically the next day at 9pm. (Potential for freaking out guests here.)The only problem is the flame colour is really artificial - no warm oranges here. It's a slightly electric yellow, so it's not the best.They are covered in real wax so a lot of effort has gone into the candle itself but there are other candle sets that have a much more realistic flame, and I'd plump for those, to be honest.

These are really quite impressive! The lights looks quite good when they are lit, although on close scrutiny they are obviously fake, but I’ve got to admit: these lit up in a row on a shelf or windowsill will fool most people at a quick glance.There isn’t much to these: a simple on/off button and battery compartment. There’s a built in timer function where they will stay on for six hours. These will repeat daily so turn them on at 8pm, and they will turn off at 2am. Next day theywill automatically come on again at 8pm. (It’s a shame this isn’t adjustable so I can make the turn off sooner than 2 am - why am I wasting my money on batteries to have lights on when I’ve gone to bed?)The overall effect when these are lit in a group is lovely. Very convincing. Stick ‘em in a pumpkin or in a a vase and they are great without the obvious fire risks. Highly recommended.
