Easy replacement, great value, works just like new
I'm very happy I found this product. The screen on my chromebook was cracked and the touchscreen had stopped working. This was a perfect fit and worked exactly as I had hoped. Other than the fact that the original had HP stamped on the bottom bezel and this does not, you would never be able to tell a difference.I have worked on computers, tablets and phones in the past so this didn't really scare me, but its easy enough that pretty much anyone can do this successfully. Here are a few instructions/tips for the install for anyone nervous about it:- Make sure the computer is off before you start. Not just asleep, but fully shut down (long press of the power button will do this, just hold it until the screen goes fully black).- Have a strong thin plastic tool ready to use to separate the screen from the screen's back panel. The screen is held in my clips (no screws), so you need something thin to create the initial separation. Metal tools will scratch the screen or back cover so I recommend plastic. I used some tools designed to remove car interior panels and they worked great for this.- The top of the screen is held by clips, but the sides are held by a thin adhesive strip running the length of the screen about 3/4" in from the sides. The video in this listing shows someone grabbing the adhesive strip with a pair of pliers and pulling it out. It seems like they messed with this for ~3 minutes in the video. I just used my long thin plastic trim panel removal tool and just pushed it down the length of the adhesive and it easily separated. That took me about 10 seconds to do both. Once that's done, the screen will move freely from the rear screen cover panel except for the cables down by the left hinge.- Next, lay the screen flat on the keyboard and pull the large square sticker off that covers the main ribbon cable connection. There is a small metal arm you need to flip back towards the ribbon cable, then the ribbon just pulls out.- There are two circuit boards in the lower screen bezel. The larger one stays with the old screen - this new screen comes with a replacement. So just unplug the ribbon cable (pull the sticker up first and it just pulls out). The smaller board needs to move to the new monitor - so instead of disconnecting the cable, just pop the whole board out of the bezel and leave it attached.- Now the old screen can be fully removed. Put it aside and put the new screen in its place (I recommend leaving the plastic film on the screen until the entire install is done to protect it).- Snap the little circuit board into place in the new screen, plug in both of the other connectors, making sure to re-apply the sticker to hold them in place.- At this point, everything is connected and I recommend testing the screen to see if it works. Just lay the screen against the backing, turn the computer on and see if video and touchscreen functions work. If not, turn the computer off, reseat the cables and try it again.- Once everything is working, shut the computer off and remove the sticker backing on the two long adhesive strips on each side of the screen. Once that is done, you can snap the screen into the rear casing. Just go around with your fingers on each side and gently squeeze until it all snaps into place and there aren't any gaps left. Make sure to get the bottom bezel between the hinges - that was the only part that didn't snap together really easily for me, but I got it without too much trouble. And that's it, enjoy your new screen.

easy install
The installation of this screen was crazy easy. I didn't have any tools and didn't need any just a guitar pick to pry the top of the screen off alittle bit and long finger nails to pull off the tape. I have to give props to the video provided on the amazon website. It came in clutch. Highly recommend this screen if you need it

Easy, Fast Shipping, and good quality
I was surprised to find that this LCD did not have the standard blue-hue, poor quality, replacement LCD.. My kids are rough on their Chromebooks and had to buy two. They were both a little different (glue, stickers, etc.) but ultimately react and look the same.I did notice that the screen is ~0.5mm wider causing it to not fit perfectly in the bezel, but good enough for me!I would purchase again and recommend.NOTE: There's a tiny digitizer controller that is a bit hidden on the original inside screen bezel, don't forget to move that to the new one and connect it. (Your digitizer/touchscreen will not work without it)

Worked perfectly
I bought a little toolkit (22 in 1 Opening Pry Tool... https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B091F39P8T?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share) and followed along with the video available in the ad for the display and everything went great. No dead pixels, touch worked perfectly. Would buy again (but hopefully won’t have to!)
