My 11 YO absolutely loves it. We went by the provided measurements and it fit well. He has been trying it on many times in preparation for Halloween. Since we bought it, we had to complete the look and buy shoes with buckles and the musket :)). I think from different stores.

Much better than I was expecting. Grandson loves it. Includes pants and hat. Medium fits him great. He is a slim 8 year old. As another reviewer pointed out, the sleeves at the wrists are a little tight, but doable.

Get at least one size larger. They run small. The hat is wire and cloth, so it's never going to look great.

Enjoyed by the little guy very much and received many compliments on how nice the costume was. Pay close attention to the size and dimensions section prior to ordering. Don't base size simply by the age range. Medium was the perfect size for average weight/height of my 8 yr old boy. Boots in picture are not included with the costume. Bought novelty pirate booties that cover over tennis shoes in place of boots. Turned out perfect.
