GNC SuperFoods Flax Seed Oil 24oz, Supplies Omega-3 and -6 Fatty Acids

I use this product to season a cast iron flatop griddle grill, and it works wonderfully.I had gotten a 2nd hand griddle grill free, and it had some standing water on it that rusted through enough to need finishing. The company recommended flax seed oil, and this was one of the better rated ones.Doing a proper re-seasoning process (thin layers, high temperature cook off each layer, minimum 4-5x times), this made my cooking surface get returned to a perfect seasoned finish.Made possible an outdoor pancake brunch on the newly re-done grill, and it was wonderful.I for sure recommend this oil to maintain and/or re-finish seasoning on a cast iron surface.

I have been using this GNC Flax Seed Oil for years. I always purchased it in the local GNC store until COVID-19. I now do most of my shopping online. It is a great product and I love it.I signed up for automatic delivery. The first delivery was a joke. First it was delayed a day or two. Then I had to cancel and request a refund instead of just having the product shipped again. I reordered it again (the automatic delivery discount wasn't given which was not big deal since it was only about $1.00). They it was shipped via UPS which added almost a week to the delivery time.For now, since I don't know when COVID-19 will end, I'll keep the automatic delivery unless it is screwed up again.

My daughter used to struggle with constipation and bowel movements as a baby so after discussing the issue with her pediatrician, it was recommended that we try incorporating flax seed oil into her diet. It helped a ton! We added it to her drinks and snuck it into her meals. She never knew the difference and didn't complain at all about the taste. For us, this product worked really well for our intended purpose.

Works well enough for seasoning cast iron. Leaves a nice finish after baking for about an hour at 350-375

I Purchased this oil specifically to season my cast-iron pans. The oil goes on very easily and can be heated to a very high temperature. I have only had to season them twice in the last two years and it has really made a difference, making the pans almost non-stick. I have used many different oils to season the pans this by far is the best one.

I cook with cast iron quite a bit. Flax seed oil is perfect for adding to your CI finish after each use. I bought this brand due to its fairly reasonable price and the fact that it wasn’t in a giant container. This 8 oz bottle should last quite awhile, as I only use a few drops after each cook and cleaning. Excellent!

NOT pure flaxeed oil, labeling misleading. One would think organic and cold pressed would be pure oil, but title label on back listing ingredients shows added: rosemary extract, Soy Oil as vit E mixed tocopherols, ascorbal palmitate (vit c) and citric acid. I will be returning. Very disappointed!

I bought this to season a cast iron skillet but didn't realize that it is not pure flax seed oil. It has other ingredients in it. It's probably amazing but I wouldn't use it for seasoning.
