I ordered these for my 35 year old replacement windows because the original latches were breaking in half and needed replaced. I was not sure if these would work but for the price I decided to try. These are plastic and from China. The same latches from a USA MFG were priced at 6 for $50.00. Long story short, these plastic latches worked just fine, so I bought 20 more.

Just the replacement I was looking for.

Did not fit my windows. Centers of the screw holes were correct but the mechanism that slides to lock did not fit in the groove. I ground some off and got them to fit.

These were easy to install and so far are working.The window in our office had the little track hooks built in but they were broken off when we bought the house. We couldn’t open the window or it would fall inward.These keep it in the track and now I can have some fresh air flow when I’m working.
