Buy the Real Voodoo Floss Bands Instead of These
I used real Voodoo floss bands before buying these bands from WODFitters. Great price, but disappointing performance. The real Voodoo bands are tacky (sticky) which makes them (1) stay where you put them, and (2) easily self applied. These bands are slick, I've used them on my legs and they slide to the narrowest point of application. So if you wrap from the knee up your thigh, it will eventually slide toward your knee. I have the same problem on my arms when I can successfully get them wrapped. The struggle is getting that first wrap when the band just slides past itself. It works best on my arms when someone else can wrap me, but that's a significant limitation.Bottom line: You're better off paying the higher price + shipping from Rogue for a functional product than saving a few dollars on something that isn't nearly as effective.

Marginal substitutes for the original
Being a cheapskate, I bought these rather than the original ones sold by the Mobility WOD people via Rogue. These are not the same as the original. The original Rogue bands have a tacky feel, making it easier to get the band to cling to itself in order to get a tight wrap. These bands are pretty slick, so you really have to work to get the band to 1) stick to your skin, and 2) stick to itself to stay tight. I find these Wodfitters brand wraps work best if I'm a bit sweaty... but when used on cold, dry skin, it's tough to start the wrap, tough to get it tight, and really tough to tie off the wrap. I find they frequently slip while I'm trying to do the flossing part of the tack and floss exercise. I decided to keep these bands because I've figured out how to struggle through with them, but if you want a struggle-free tack and floss experience, get the original bands.

WODFitters - Best company out there!!!!
I purchased the WODFitters Floss Bands and chose the thicker version as I am a senior powerlifter and world record holder in the deadlift and have used various sized bands for deadlift, bench, etc. The Floss Bands are not like the powerlifting bands and just as Kelly Sterret's video explains they are made to loosen muscle/fascia connection and to self- heal joint soreness. I have use these so far for my elbows and hamstring-glute connection. I started out slowly so as not to injure myself with a new activitiy as the Floss Bands can be as aggressive as you make it. They work as advertised!!!!!!The product arrived on-time and has a small cloth bag to hold the set of two bands. You should go to www.wodfitters.com and explore their website as it is filled with beneficial information. You should Google Kelly Sterrett as he has an audio that explains how to safely use the Floss Bands.I will buy from WODFitters in the future as the company does exactly what they say they will do. They have great follow-up after you make a purchase which will give you peace of mind.

I realize Rogue makes great crossfit gear - but I am less convinced they ...
Having read Supple Leopard / Kelly Starrett's opus on mobility and related functional movement - was eager to give these a try as a substitute to the (more expensive) Rogue bands which his site links you to. I realize Rogue makes great crossfit gear - but I am less convinced they directly manufacture their "voodoo bands". Was very pleased with this purchase and immediately addressed tightness in the knees (from lots of full range of movement activities) and shins (from running) and hamstrings (because of all of the above). Love the handy travel case as I do take these on the road with me for business travel to stay tuned up when on the road (or when muscle groups get funky from too much sitting on planes). I highly recommend these guys - and they're a small company that has great follow up and customer service.

Use them for plantar fasciitis. By far, this is the best relief I've had for the pain.
Like most people who see this I was skeptical about voodoo flossing. I have been suffering from plantar fasciitis for going on three years now. I've tried orthotic insoles/arch supports, rollers, TENS therapy, etc. and the only thing that seemed to work was the anti-inflammatory drugs. I don't like taking pills if I can avoid it so most days I just grin and bear it.While visiting with a friend after a long day of golf, sitting outside smoking cigars, I groaned at how much my feet hurt when talking about jogging/running/staying in shape. That friend says to me, "Have you heard of Voodoo Flossing?" He went inside the house and came back out with the WODfitters band. He wrapped the band around my foot and ankle and walked me through the process. After just a minute or two we took off the band and just like that... NO PAIN! I ordered the bands using my Amazon app right then. I've only been using them for a few days now but it does still give me that instant relief. YMMV, but if you're dealing with Plantar Fasciitis everyday like so many of us do, it's worth a try! Especially considering how much I've spent on other relief tools.Couple things: 1) IMHO, get the red bands. The tension is high anyway, get the one that squeezes hard. 2) Comes in a nice carry bag, wish it came with two bags as I leave one in my work bag and the other at home... I can't do both bands at once. 3) I expected rubber bands to smell like Theraband, but these don't. They do leave a little residue behind though so be advised.Big fan of these bands and of voodoo flossing!

Smells like fish
I don't know if these bands come on a ship transporting fish crates or what, but the bands smell like a can of sardines. I will try to wash them to see if I can get rid of the odor. Furthermore, the bands are strong and don't really stretch much, and they are too smooth to be wrapped easily. I get a much better grip with thin, wide bands in green and blue that I got from my physical therapist for exercises. And they work just as fine. I think this was a waste of money, for me at least.

Solid heavy duty rubber bands for a good price
I'm writing this review after around a year or so of use. Got these to help floss some niggles with tendonitis in my forearm (coupled with some arm supports during training). It has been a fairly long journey to recovery but would recommend floss bands in general as the have definitely helped. The product comes in a little sack/bag which is useful for keeping it coiled up when not in use. The rubber is pretty heavy duty and coated so does not irritate or remove large chunks of arm/leg hair when in use. Also if you do sweat a fair bit in training and use the bands try to give them a wipe down after to help keep the rubber from corroding over time if just left in your kit bag.

Works! Fast dispatch
Was skeptical before buying, watch YouTube videos and thought give it a go. It does work, even if they feel really uncomfortable when using but somehow seems to cure muscle and tendon pains. The product is well packed in a neat pouch, comes in two colours; which each have different resistances and are of top quality. Would recommend to anyone experiencing sore muscles or joint pains as a different approach to pain killers.

Excellent bands
Do exactly what they say, used just a couple of times so far on quads that have been knotted up and not improving despite lots of quality rolling, massage, supple leopard mobility work etc, the bands though, flossing and going through range of motion, definite improvements. Will be using a lot I suspect!

I was extremely disappointed. The bands have a glossy non grip finish ...
After using my son's competitor, and slightly more expensive, floss bands I ordered these for myself. I was extremely disappointed. The bands have a glossy non grip finish making the application of the bands near impossible. I returned the WODfitters band and ordered the competitor product. The old sayings "one gets what one pays for" and "buying cheap is buying expensive" is certainly true for these products

Not what I expected
I was disappointed that the bands didn't stay in place, I tried different positions and even tried adding chalk to the product but still didn't stay in place not sure if this is due to the bands glossy finish. They are okay until you decide to move.
