Restored my old dried out platen from 70's typewriter
I was skeptical at first when I read the reviews of this product. But it vastly improved the platen on my 60's typewriter, the Hermes Baby's platen into a supple and dull looking platen like it was just replaced. Mind you, I only applied 1 coat for now. It seems to get absorbed by the platen almost instantly when it is applied. So multiple coats should penetrate deep into the platen to make it softer so each key type should become more pronounced. Awesome product, recommened for those that have vitage typewriter that has dried out platens that are rock hard. Be sure to apply it in well ventilated area. Smell is similar to Ben-Gay topical cream.CAUTION: Be sure not to get any of the stuff on plastic or it will start to disintegrate it. Best to take the platen out of the assembly or anything that's not rubber.

Great product for rubber restoration!
This stuff is amazing! It instantly restored the suction to my “dry-rotted “rubber NAB reel holders and the pinch roller to “like new” functionality and look!

Great Product
This works well on equipment with rubber wheels that are worn and replacement wheels hard to find and/or replace. The smell maybe strong to some but it dissipates pretty fast.

I love this stuff
I have used this on old power cords/harnesses for a while and I love it. It cleans and brings life back to cords that would otherwise be cut off and replaced. It has saved the original power cords that had gotten stiff with age on several of my vintage stereo receivers. It also made the harness on my vintage 1959 boat look like new. I cannot praise this product enough! It does have a distinct smell but it isn't a strong chemical odor like you'd expect - it smells like peppermint which I find quite tolerable, but I don't recommend hanging around and breathing it long term..it is still a chemical after all..

Makes hard shiny rubber dull and rubbery again
This does exactly what it claims to do. If you have some rubber that has become shiny and hard with age, this will soften it up so it is dull and grips again. I used it on a set of rubber wheel rollers. They are supposed to grip the gate and roll it sideways. But, years in the sun, they were shiny and slipped more than they pulled. For less than the price of one replacement wheel, I purchased the rubber revitalizer and coated each rubber wheel. Within minutes, the rubber looked better. Because I had a whole bottle, I did three treatments. Now, over two weeks later, the wheels easily grip and pull the gate without slipping.

It works!
I used this on an old DSLR grip that was getting sticky. This brought a lot of the original feel of the grip back and it gave it a minty smell. I'm surprised about the complaints of the smell.

This the most grip producer
I am one of the final repairmen of VCRs,Cassette player/recorders, Laser Disc players, etc. I must say that this product promotes the grippiest belts I have ever experienced since getting into this business in 1991. This is a huge plus. I must most strongly advise that you only use this product in a very well ventilated area for health reasons from the strong fumes. Also be careful due to volatility.Use it safely and you will be fine and happy with the results. I highly recommend this seller.

Waste of money
I had a pair of shoes that got hard and slippery only on the front half of one shoe. This stuff did nothing at all. Absolutely nothing. Plus, my wife complained about the smell.
