App and connectivity is terrible, can't download maps advertised with the unit!
Bought the elite fs 9 , and how disappointing! Said it comes with c-maps + but the app doesn't work to download them, that's if you can at all, Lowrance know about this issue but don't seem very forthcoming to fix it as far as the reviews I've read anyway and the unit cant download or sign in even when connected to wifi. The only option i can find to get the maps at the moment is by purchasing them through their website and loading them onto a SD card but that's another £200+ so I'll not be doing that. seems they are keen for everyone to upload their own maps though to help them out. I'm lost for an explanation as to how you can launch a product that doesn't work, i would not buy from Lowrance again, poor website and App not working, it's ridiculous! Save yourself a grand and shop elsewhere!
