I bought these to try the craft of rock wrapping (see photo for results). The colors were bright and each skein has a generous amount of lacing. The colors did not rub off and the lacing was a consistent width — no thin of thick sections. Liked them so much that I ordered a second set in other colors and those were very pretty too. Now I am using the remainder of lacing to make decorative key chains.

This worked perfect for what I needed. Made some cute earrings with these. I’m probably going to order more!

This product has a lot of PROS....BUT....the product states you get 10yds of each color for a total of 70 yds. I've ordered this product in every color packet available. This was my first order. After ordering 4 and taking the time to randomly measure the colors to price out the items I was making, I found every color to be missing 2 1/2 yds. After buying 4, I am now missing 50 yds. worth of cord. That's a big deal!!! It's too bad. I really like this cord, the price, the colors, and working with it. They should be honest about the amounts and place the CORRECT amount in the packages. Most people will not take the time to measure them and we really shouldn't have too. Amazon was great at figuring out a solution with me but I now have to consider finding a different vendor. This vendor is CandyGirl and I would love to hear directly from them as to what they plan on doing about their product packaging.Pros:Delivered fast though Prime.The colors are vibrant!The material is soft for jewelry making.I pulled hard on it and it did not break.Cuts nicely without fraying. I twisted and turned these through beads and they came out looking nice on the other side.Very nice amount. (REVISED REVIEW ABOVE ABOUT THE ACTUAL AMOUNT SENT.)Nice packaging. Reusable bag.I received all the correct colors (some reviews mentioned they did not).Cons.-Small rubber band used to hold together leaves an ugly mark. It comes exactly as shown, several lengths of variously colored faux suede. It comes with a lot of product so its a pretty good value. The product is quality stuff, my only complaint is that it wears easily / breaks under tension. But that can be prevented with proper use and maintenance.

This is exactly what I was looking for. Soft, leather-like straps I could use to hang crystals and other amulets from that I have. I've grown tired of my hair getting caught in chains and figured I'd try something new. They seem durable enough for what I need them for. I think they could make decent shoelaces on nicer shoes, but I wouldn't use them for work boots or any other shoe you needed to tie tight. They are more cosmetic than they are durable, but I didn't want leather so durable and thick it was impossible to tie without making a big bulky knot. They're exactly what I hoped they would be!UPDATE: I just wanted to add a little update. I saw a few users saying these were weak and they'd broken while being worn. I haven't experienced that at all yet and I still love them.

I use this to wrap my hikingstick handles with and they work great. Lots of colors for a variety and they have great strength.

These strands are soft and pleasant to work with. I feel I have good yardage and will be able to complete several projects with what I received. They do not hold up to much strain though. A light tug snapped a line being used as part of a necklace.

These suede cords are absolutely great for craft projects. And you get so much product for your dollar. Worth it.
