Explorers of North America (A True Book: American History) (A True Book (Relaunch))

Another book about exploration
Purchased for a class. The text was sufficient for what it was used for in terms of coursework. But didn't address any of the terrible things colonizers did to indigenous people of North America. Definitely a tad bit revisionist. Not something I would typically purchase.

Perfect for class
Bought this for my classroom collection and it will be great for a resource when doing research.

Explorer Biographies
This book is chocked full of information and summaries on explorers through the ages, beginning with the Vikings and moving through Lewis and Clark. Highly recommended for children who need to write 5th grade level reports but don't have grade level reading skills. Plenty of pictures, maps, and helpful illustrations without making it simplistic. Highly recommended for elementary classrooms.

A good book for students
This is a good book to use when studying explorers. I use it in my classroom. It is written in a style my students can understand and find informative.

North American Explorers
I liked this book as it gave me a good picture of the men who explored America without my having to read 400 or more pages.

Overpriced. Small, thin book.
Good book but it is the size of a thin magazine. I would look for a less costly one.

Exactly what we needed!
My daughter in 4th grade needed this as a required reading assignment. I'm sure that she will enjoy it...Amazon made it so easy.
