A fascinating tale set in Ancient China, laced with both lively humour and heart-breaking tragedy, and show-casing two of the most charming, likable and well-drawn characters I have encountered between the pages of a novel in years. Well worth the read.

Very cute but also mildly heartbreaking. Very well written and interesting plot that captures your attention. I like the theme of ghosts.

I loved this book. It came in perfect condition and it was cheaper than my local book store!

Brilliant book! I read the fan translated version before the official version was announced. When I heard there were official versions I ordered them as soon as my budget allowed. The writer builds up the main leads wonderfully and their romantic relationship happens so naturally in the story that you can help but smile. That said, the book isn't for the light of heart. There's a lot of angst and excitement within the book! One of the rare stories where the book and the TV adaptation (the untamed) are as good as each other! Despite the TV adaptations having to make changes to suit the laws where it was made. It's great that the source material has got an official adaptation and I can't wait till they're all released!If you are looking for a good story, with plenty of action and a side of romance, thus is a book for you!

The mystery, the excitement, the love and the cleverness sparkle out of every page. To be read and re read at every opportunity. Loved it.
