Nice temperature for chapel lighting
I bought 21 of these to replace the CFLs in the tubular fixtures in a chapel I maintain. After buying 3 different temperature corn cob LED with similar lumen output and power consumption to compare against the existing CFLs and each other this one was chosen. The existing CFLs are rated at 45 watts, have a temperature of 2700K and a lumen output of 2850 whereas these save energy (use 35 watts), are brighter (greater lumen output) and are a bit closer to natural light. One star removed for: 1) I would have preferred about 110 lumens per watt instead of 100 for greater illumination, and 2) I received multiple shipments of these lamps which eventually totalled the ordered quantity of 21, and that was problematic only because one of the shipments had 4 lamps which were not boxed liked the others. It turned out that those four lamps were a noticeably different temperature (cooler and closer to 'natural') than the other 17. However, it just so happened that there was an area where I could install them without distraction, so the choice was made to keep them. All things considered it is a lamp I would recommend for general lighting in a place of assembly.

Great Bulb for a Home Garage Application!
I bought the warm white version of this LED bulb to replace a 300 watt incandescent bulb that I've used in my one car garage/workshop for over 20 years. For a few years, I've used smaller LED bulbs to replace incandescent and CFL bulbs (and have been very pleased with modern LED technology), but was sceptical of the actual light output from the LED equaling the light output from the hot, expensive, short-lived (but trusty) incandescent. To my surprise, the SkyGenius appears to cast a slightly brighter light than the incandescent. The light distribution in the garage is uniform, with no apparent hot/cold spots. This may be due, in part, to the large size of the light emitting area of the bulb, as opposed to the point source of the incandescent. The warm white lighting color (temperature) comes close to that of the incandescent. I've only had it installed for about a week, so I really can't address the advertised 35,000+ hour lifespan. I'm very happy with this bulb so far and would not hesitate to use it in any similar application I come across.

BRIGHT BRIGHT BRIGHT!
The 35W bulb is rather long, probably 2-2.5" longer than a traditional bulb. it is very bright and the warm color is great if you don't like the cold blue of some bright white LEDs. Time will tell how it holds up but so far so good. I would give it 5 stars if somehow they could keep it in the size of a traditional bulb. It throws light out in all directions and is a great option for a single socket garage fixture especially in the ceiling. Don't stare directly at it though. If it's on the wall and not the ceiling make sure you find and mount some sort of diffuser.

THE NORTH STAR
I went to Lowe's and got a 4 ft led shop light. This light had about 80 LED light in it all facing down. So when you turned it on all the light was in one place. Straight down. This would be great if I was using it over a work bench. I have a two car garage and wanted to be able to light it up BIG Time when I had to find things on the shelves on the wall or way in the back of the garage. So I returned that $100 light and got this one. I could not wait for sun to set. Then I flipped the switch and BOOM led lights facing 360 degrees all around it plus more facing straight down. This is a great light it was close to daylight in that garage all 3 walls were lit up. Needless to say I am very happy with this corn light. (my wife said it looks weird) she is a "dimmer switch kinda gal"

A Great Choice for Exterior Lighting
We have purchased 14 of these lights of which one failed (promptly replaced via Amazon). We bought the 35W 3000k bulbs and are using them in exterior lights. They provide a bright, warm, inviting light for our house. Most of the lights were packaged without any information but a recent purchase included instructions for using the lights in an enclosed fixture and explained how to get a lifetime warranty by e-mailing the Amazon order numbers to Sky Genius (see photo.)I did not rate the longevity because the oldest of our bulbs are less just less than three years. Hopefully they will last as long as advertised.

Questioning if Product is Applicable for Church Installation
This bulb will be scheduled for installation 10/16/2017, for a trial run to determine if it is a satisfactory replacement for CFL bulbs installed 07/2007. Looking for proper function in the fixture and if Lumens and Kelvin Temperature choice is satisfactory. It is a work in progress for my church Sanctuary. If choices are correct, the final bulb requirement will be around 28-30 bulbs total..... Whose chips and drivers are used, I would like to know.

I was pleased with the product until one bulb completely failed and ...
I bought 2 of the 35 watt Sky Genius bulbs 17 months ago for my residential garage. I was pleased with the product until one bulb completely failed and the second bulb evidenced individual diode failure. I'm disappointed that the product marketed with an estimated 20 year lifespan didn't last a year and a half; however, the company was cordial and provided a timely refund. I purchased the bulbs again.

Lasted almost 2 years
I bought the 35w warm white version in Feb 2017 and installed it in a open bottom dusk to dawn fixture on a tall post in front of a barn. It was on every night and lasted until Dec 2018 in Chicago weather. I expected longer life out of it, but it completely died in just shy of two years.
