The unit is very sturdy and comes with good hardware for mounting. At about half the price of a replacement TOTO seat I am pleased. Some comments seem to reflect a failure of the soft close. I could care less if it fails someday down the road. The seat is sturdy and this alone outperforms 95% of the competition.

Bought open box product add a very good price. I’m totally satisfied with this product! Easy to install, the quality is awesome!

Good value but OEM superior.
This is a good replacement seat. It only suffers by direct comparison with the original seat, which is a fraction longer and the lid is a bit more rigid, so it doesn’t flex when you lean back. That said, you would only know this comparing them side by side, and at this price, this seat is a very good offering. It looks correct, it’s easy to install, it’s colour correct, and strong.

Toto Toilet Seat
Perfect fit for Toto toilet. Easy to install.

Too much slack
There was too much slack in this toilet seat and no way to tighten that slack to prevent the seat sliding from side to side when sitting on toilet. Hopefully it was just this one seat that was defective.
