First, it should be noted that I absolutely never review anything unless it is absolutely sensational or truly horrendous. This pillow combination goes into the sensational category. I don’t know how I would’ve survived rotator cuff surgery without this. I know a lot of people sleep sitting up in a recliner, but I would’ve gone for weeks with no sleep if I had been forced to do that. This assortment of pillows allowed me to actually set up my bed so I could rest and sleep after surgery. If you are having shoulder surgery, this is a must.

I bought this about a month ago for recovery from an impending surgery where I would have to be upright for over two weeks and it's been priceless! Was worth the extra money - there are a lot of other similar pillow sets, but I noticed that with the less expensive sets, people were more likely to report that they moved around or that they didn't reinflate properly. I'm 5'2" and weigh 115 lbs, so it was plenty sturdy for me; it is fairly large which I am ok with. There may have been a slight odor from the fill when I first opened the packages (similar to foam beds), but it dissipated very quickly. I purchased it ahead of time in case I had a problem with it. I think it's a good balance of firmness - not too firm but firm enough to be supportive. What's nice is that it is versatile. I did not need the velcro straps because the pillows stayed put without them. I have a sleep number bed and the head and feet raise, but I actually found this to be just as comfortable and more adjustable. It comes with a large gel ice pack and the vacuum bags but I haven't used either yet.

Extremely well made, really soft fabric, pillow cushions are very solid and universal. Can be used in so many positions. The small bumps on the underside of the cushions hold it well in place under your legs to prop them up to the angled cushions for your back.The therapeutic design has been incredible support for me during my extremely abdominal surgery recovery. This item is worth every penny!!!!! It’s extremely high quality & very versatile!!!!

This was exactly what I needed. Waiting for spinal surgery. This was a life savor and I am sure will help me stay more comfortable while recovering. It is the perfect softness and firmness needed.

This is the best pillow set ever. I can place it where I want and it doesn't move from that spot. It's firm enough, yet still comfy. It was perfect for after my surgery and the adaptability has been great. The size is perfect and, even though the price seems high when compared to the others in this category, it's totally money well spent. I am so happy with this purchase.

For me.... I have a lower back slight budged disk. The angle of my lower back when laying on this begins to hurt. Holds you in the upright position but not enough lumbar support in the lower back in that position. Now I do love the leg portion of it. It's firm and is nice to have legs in that position, especially when reading. Wish I could say more but that lower back thing is the hardest for me.

This product is awesome! It has enable my husband who has severe neck problems to be able to read and watch television in bed comfortably for the first time in 3 years. It is exactly as described and well worth the price.
