This is cute, but not a high-quality item; the price matches the quality. The board is thin with unfinished wood. One starfish arrived broken. I did request a replacement item and it arrived quickly. I gave it 3 stars because it arrived with a broken piece and it is unfinished low quality feeling/looking. It will be a fun novelty item and will work as intended, but I don’t expect it to hold up to little people use or over time.

Son in law wanted the beach for Christmas, we live in a cold state so I got him this. Thumbs up! We got a good chuckle out of it but he does leave it out on a side table so it gets played with. The pieces do look authentic until you look closely. He told the grandsons they couldn’t play with it because the pieces are fragile 😉
