Solo basta con conectarlo y estarás duplicando la pantalla de tu iPhone sin necesidad de configuración. Si vas a meterle audio con un micrófono para grabar o enviar tu voz se va a agregar un zumbido muy fuerte. Lo compre para que mi iPhone recibiera carga durante una transmisión en vivo y que la batería pudiera durar lo suficiente, le conecte el receptor de unos Rode wirelss go 2 y el ruido zumbido que genera es muy molesto. Para usarlos así no los aconsejo.

So this is advertised to work with Apple products. However, Apple isn't really designed to take an analogue signal and convert it into a digital/lightning port. If you plug a regular analog mic into this jack, it will create a humming/buzzing sound and ruin your audio. I have ordered 2 of these adapters - both did it. I then used a different microphone. Same problem. I then bought new audio trs/trrs cables. Same problem. I tried this adapter with my iphone and with an ipad... Same problem. I then went into the Apple Store and tech support told me these adapters do not work with analogue trs/trrs microphones on an ipad. I need to simply buy a microphone that already has a lightning plug built into it and is designed with the digital conversion already built into the plug. I wasted my money. This adapter is only good for plugging in an HDMI monitor, which works. But a microphone - nope.

Everything went wrong with this faulty device:I tried all combinations of input devices alone and all attached at the same time:-attaching external headset/mic causes low buzzing noise-with headset/mic attached HDMI sometimes does not work-causes FILMicPro (video app) to crash or freeze up-external mic does not work with iphone video

Used with iPhone 12 Pro Max and my lightning accessory would not work through the lightning port. Seems like you can only use it for charging. Also, the 3.5mm port does not work for microphones as advertised.

I will ultimately admit I did not do enough research but I incorrectly assumed I could pass midi through, at least, 1 of the USB ports. my goal is to be able to see my IPad screen via monitor while hearing tones and connecting to my mid controller keyboard. Even without the hdmi connector in use it DOES NOT work as a typical iOS camera adapter does. If I have just purchased a faulty unit then any input is appreciated but unless someone corrects me I must return this. Is there an option to accomplish video audio and midi throughput in a lightning adapter like this? The basic function woeks for what it is but just stinks I chose wrong here.
