Take a Second
It's almost plug and play. It sounds great! When I first connected it the sound was terriable, but that was becasue I needed to make sure my sound setting choices were set correctly for the MIC and the Speakers. It only takes a second to set each default. Everyone says the mic sounds really good. I plugged in an old external speaker system that came with my 1990's PC through the headphone jack and have the UM300 on Cardioid patern siting in front of them. My conference calls sound like im in a recording studio now. Great value! Hoping it holds up. I

Movo MIc just works!!
I recently bought a ($2700) 3 letter 16 9640 laptop and the internal microphone is crap, the drivers are crap. So this microphone works flawlessly and fixed most of the issues. I use a microphone daily. I use it with a certain PC browser to search for things by voice. I use it with an OS that has voice typing, and voice access. those three services by the same company are plagued with problems and this microphone has greatly reduced that. Hats off...

This Movo UM300 Mini Microphone mic is GREAT!
I love doing tech reviews and if you'd like more in-depth reviews check out my YouTube channel, "OndaWire" where I love putting things to the test. I normally test things out for a couple of weeks before doing a review, but I just got this Movo UM300 Mini Microphone this morning and I could not wait to talk about it.Pros:1. First things first, this is a plug-and-play microphone. The microphone I was using before made me download drivers and everything else, and this was as simple as pulling it out of the box and plugging it up.2. The sound quality is great. You do not have to sit right in front of the microphone to be heard and your voice is super clear.3. This has such a quality build feel to it. Pulling it out of the box it is heavy and small. The base is super solid and it also has rubber padding on the bottom so you don't have to worry about it scratching the surface of your desk or wherever you are placing this.4. On the bottom of the mic it also has a hole if you want to screw this onto a microphone holder. It does not come with the holder but you can get one separately if you'd like. I am using this for my desk so I can do my YouTube videos and other things so it is perfect for me as it is. It also comes with a USB-C to USB-C cable and a USB-A to USB-C cable to accommodate the port of the device you are using. This allows you to use the mic and power it. I have my microphone plugged into a docking station so I am using one of these cables to power it and then I am using a double head/sided 3.5 mm headphone jack cable to plug which I have one end plugged into the back of the microphone and the other end plugged into the docking station. Either way, you use it, it works great!5. It has 3 lights on the front knob of the mic. Press once to toggle between blue and red. BLUE lets you know that that the mic is ready in record mode and when it's blue, you can turn the knob to control the volume. RED lets you know that the microphone is muted. To control the gain, hold down the button and it will turn PURPLE and then hold it down again to get back to red or blue. Super simple!6. There is also a small button labeled "pattern" that you can click which will allow you to switch between Cardioid and Omnidirectional. If you don't know what this means, Cardioid is typically used for a single user who is sitting right in front of the mic, and Omnidirectional is used when you have multiple people using the same microphone so the mic can pick up their voices from different angles.7. The two little wheels you see on each side of the microphone allow you to adjust the microphone in any position that you want and then lock it into place.Overall, I am giving this Movo UM300 Mini Microphone a super high 5***** star rating and would highly recommend it. I've tried other microphones before, but this one is just super simple to use, and being able to pull it right out of the box and plug it up and start using it is awesome! You will not be disappointed!

Great!
Great little mic. Great value. The only criticism I have - it would be awesome if it had a capacitive mute instead of the button (it makes an audible click on calls).

Prosumer quality for a low price point… this mic will step up your game…
The media could not be loaded. ITEM: MOVO Model UM-300 desktop switchable-bi-directional microphonePRICE: $ 60.00 at time of reviewHaving owned and reviewed two other MOVO microphones, one a short shotgun on camera mic, and the other a desktop hi-quality condenser mic, I anticipated the MOVO UM-300 would also test out as a very responsive ‘Prosumer’ microphone. And I was not disappointed. It’s the quality jump that you can enjoy by spending not much more than what you’d spend for look-a-like desktop mics with far less quality audio performance. This MOVO, as I mention in my video review, very economically closes the gap from the inexpensive and moderate quality mics in the $30 to $40 range, and only requires another $20 for you to have the quality you’ve wanted for your narration, blogging and other projects. It’s a great value and most certainly a quality-performer.Since beginning my video reviews for Amazon, I’ve developed a respectable collection of shotgun, (short to long), condenser desk mics and a large variety of wireless mic systems. Without becoming a ‘mic-snob’ I can quickly hear the difference in ‘canned audio’ from a cheap mic, to clear and crisp audio from a nice Prosumer microphone like this MOVO. In short, I know from use that the UM-300 is definitely a very defined cut above budget and entry level mics in that ‘Under $50 range.’In addition to being a nice desktop mic, it has FIVE control features you’ll enjoy using.• Omni-directional sensitivity to pick up your surroundings or a guest• Directional sensitivity (frontal) when you’re narrating or blogging• Muting button function• Mic gain• Headset monitor gainUsable with your Adroid phone or capable of plugging its audio out into a PC or MAC via the USB-A plug, you’ll be able to record directly in to your phone’d audio app, or into a ‘video or post-video editing application/software. This mic is now my default and remains on my recording desk to augment my review videos when I need to add narration. Without reservation I’d highly recommend this wired mic to anyone who is in the market for a mic they would use on their desk or in a fixed location. And yes, you can remove the mic from its U-cradle, and use the threaded mounting hole on the bottom of the microphone to mount it to a stand.

Tiny Sound quality
I bought this mic so I can do some OBS training videos, but the USB Mic did not sound very good! The vocals sounded like they came through a phone. I will be returning this USB microphone and shopping for some thing a little bit more upscale!

Great for everyday use
This is a really good mic at its price point. Perfect for gaming and zoom meetings. I wouldn't try using it for anything professional. But the compact body and overall sound quality is worth the price.
