A Bible for kids!!! BUT...
This is a great bedtime story book for kids but you will need to read it to them until they can read it themselves. But what a great way to tell the story of what the Bible is and what it tells us about people that have been affected by God's presence in their lives, and, what the Bible story is all about. After all, it is a single story from Genesis to Revelation comprised of many individual stories within that single story of salvation. Many parents, that may have not read the whole Bible through, may find this a revelation to them as to what really is the greatest story ever told! They and their children will learn so much more and can help teach the truth and clarity of each story they read. What fun that can be! You can ask questions of your kids and they can ask questions about the story you just read to them. Great learning tool. Have fun and enjoy being able to teach your children about God's love for all people and His grace He has shown us from the very beginning of time.

Beautiful Children's Bible
I got it for my 27yr old daughter. I love the way the stories are written and how simple it is. Love the illustrations too! I would get one for me!😀

Beautiful Bible for children.
This is a slightly more detailed Bible for children and it makes a great every day read. I would say it works for slightly older children but also is great for kids that are already interested to read by themselves. Great Bible to have in the house.

Perfect for reading the story, before you read it in the real Bible.
It tells the story, and then tells where it is found in the bible. I have given these to people to read a story in this book, and then read the story in the real Bible, and a new person will know what is going on. However I do think the Bible is easy to understand anyway without it, but for someone who knows nothing about the Bible it's very helpful to know the basic stories. When I was 19, I picked up an illustrated children's Bible, and then would look at the reference and read it in the real bible. Now I'm 73, and the Bible is still precious to me after reading it for 50 years. Especially in John 6 where Jesus says he that believes in me has everlasting life.

Best Bible Book EVER!
Hello... I purchased my first copy of this book in 1986. We starting reading nightly to our 3yr and 5yr old girls. They loved the colorful pictures on every page and the exciting stories about the Bible. My husband stills says that he learned more about the Bible from reading this book through each year than he learned from any church class or other books! I have purchased at least 30 or 40 copies of the book over the years and given them to people from 3 to 96 years old. The young love the book and the older people who have little Bible background can easily follow the stories and understand the message. My Mexican son-in-law loves it because he can easily understand the English text and learn the Bible chronologically. It was the best purchase I ever made!

Awesome Bible for Little ones and older
I bought this bible when I was pregnant with my first and the only child. As soon as gave birth to my child and gained little of my strength, I started reading this bible to her. That was when she was about 4 weeks old. One day when she was two month old, I was reading this to her. Usually I lie with her holding book above us so that both of us could look at the pages that we were reading. She was making certain kind of cooing noise while I was reading it. And next day, I was reading it again, and soon she joined me making the noise again and she continued even though I stopped to look at her. I was surprised to see that she is looking at the page. More amazing thing is that she is looking at the letters not the picture. I quickly called my husband and asked to take picture of us. All that time, she was still reading it with her eyes fixed on that page. Whenever I look at that picture, I am amazed. During the pregnancy (while she was inside of my body), I read her whole book of the bible (adult bible). The reason I'm saying this is that, there is no such thing like "children's bible". That's name is all categorized by adult, not by children. We are so biased in the idea that children has to have pictures to read bible. But we'd better train our children to hear and listen to the word before we so quickly introduce the visual ones. Before they develop their eyes, their ears are greatly developed. All bible my daughter had in her life was this bible until she was 4, NIrV (New International Readers Version), and NIV. When she turned 5, she starting reading, so I bought her NIrV version and encouraged her to read one section a day. We also read it together during family worship and she loved reading it. When she went to Middle school, I bought her NIV thinline. She loves it and is still reading it even though it's worn. (She is in college now) What I would like to say is ...."Don't buy too many picture bibles." It might tire your child's taste of the word. Instead meditate the word and pray with the word with your child and your child will learn how to listen to the word. Children are greatly influenced by how we live. About this Bible... This is mostly staying on the Subject: Jesus, the Gospel, which most children's bibles are lack of. So I value this greatly. One story can be long to some readers. If so, I suggest you to use NIrV. It's real bible in easy English version but good enough version for children to understand. Don't quickly run to picture bibles. Lots of times they only tells children stories but there is no Gospel. If you believe God is powerful enough to make children understand the Gospel you can start with NIRV or even any adult bible. The key is not what to show them, but how to use Bible to introduce our children the Gospel. Why do I give 4 stars instead of 5? Because it is not still Bible itself, which means there can be error. So when we read this with our children, we will have to pray for the discerning Spirit and examine to see that certain statement is biblically right. God bless!

THE BEST READ FOR ADULTS WHO HAVE DIFFICULTY READING
I recommend this children's bible stories for ALL ages. Please give this type of easy read bible to adults who have difficulty reading and for those who are intimidated by a regular bible. The person will read this bible quietly and alone. It is simple enough to draw the person in to comprehend the words and hope they will be curious to move onto an adult bible. It is best to put a book cover over the children's bible stores so the adult does not feel embarrassed. The goal is to have them start reading at their level of comprehension. The ILLUSTRATIONS are beautiful and you pause to enjoy looking at the details.
