25 Years of Shelf Life: Plenty of Time to Not Use This IDF Filter
Intriguing find! This Israeli CBRN gas mask filter, made to NATO specifications and boasting a 25-year shelf life (manufactured in 2020), definitely sparks curiosity given its IDF origins. The claim of protection against all known NBC agents and its design for comfort and extended use is impressive. The standard 40mm NATO thread ensures wide compatibility. It arrived new and unused, still sealed. While I haven't had the occasion to test its effectiveness (and sincerely hope I never will!), its Israeli military development and CE approval inspire a degree of confidence. Definitely a piece of equipment with a significant backstory. This review represents my personal opinion and experience with this product.
