Good for high school kids
The book will be good for high school kids. It was a long read! I could not connect to any of the characters in this book.

Overall an entertaining, easy and light read.
This adult college romance focuses on Drew Baylor – the star quarterback that every woman desires and Anna Jones – who due to her family history and past relationship, as well as the fact Drew is a jock, is determined to steer clear of him despite the instant attraction, and when that doesn’t work she’d determined to keep her walls up as they hook up.I do wish that Anna had been more fleshed out as a character – her motivations and reasons for keeping Drew at a distance needed more depth and teasing out.I also wanted things with Anna’s best-friend and her douchebag of a boyfriend to be depicted differently – I was not impressed with how things played out.

Absolutely STUNNING!
I'm new to this genre having become a fan after watching Passionflix Driven and reading all books by K.Bromberg.I just happened upon this new author and I am so impressed I took a chance. Its hard to trust a new author because you don't know how they write, construct their stories.Drew and Anna - truly amazing couple. Their chemistry jumps off every page and I could not put it down!!! Happy to discover more from this author...She joins my now-growing rosta of Cat Carmine, Kendall Ryan, Vi Keeland, Penelope Ward and Samantha Towle to mentin a few.Highly recommend this book if you're into INTENSE, angsty stories!

Couldn't put it down!!!
This book was FABULOUS!It started off slightly humorous but as you read more…oh, the feels!Drew Baylor, star quarterback at his college and well on his way to football stardom. He lost his parents a few years earlier and has no other family. His football team are his family. Girls and fame have come easily to him, but he’s ready to finish college and itching for something more in his personal life. The moment he hears Anna Jones’ dulcet tones and looks into her eyes, he’s an absolute goner.Anna’s from a one-parent family ever since her father left them when she was young. She had a miserable time in high school – overweight, sullen, overlooked. She’s completely blossomed since being in college and after one failed relationship, she sticks to hook ups. Drew has a stunning effect on her but she tries to shut him down and out. She’s running scared – afraid to trust the well-known quarterback, and shies away from the attention that an association with him would bring. One hot, sexy encounter changes the dynamics between them and it’s game on! Drew is determined to have her and they eventually find themselves in a non-relationship – a never-ending hook up.This is the best college romance I’ve read in a while. It portrayed a wealth of emotions: angst, fear, lust, passion, despair, and all-consuming love. I loved the sizzling chemistry between Anna and Drew – the compulsive, uncontrollable desire between them. I loved how Drew was all-in from the first but proceeded with caution, slowly breaking down through Anna’s emotional barriers. This story gave me tingles! I couldn’t put it down and absolutely loved it, and have bought the other two novels in the series!

Enjoyable and easy to read.
i read these books in the wrong order and was therefore affected by that common problem - sameness. Each story not only shares characters, they speak with the same voice, the plots have a shared feel and pace. It would probably be better not to read them concurrently. The author could also do with the help of an editor who can untangle convoluted sentences.

Barely OK
A disappointing read, although I didn't quite make it half way.I had read Idol and Managed and loved both so thought that, although I know nothing about college football, I would give it a try (I know nothing about the music industry while enjoying Idol and Managed so why not this?).I felt that there was barely a story: boy meets girl and they have sex, although she will not kiss, they continue to meet and have sex, still no kissing, they reveal a little about themselves, meet for sex etc.It was not badly written but felt lacklustre and lacking any lightness of touch. I just do not care what happens to any of them.
