My neighbour had the Council turn the street light directly to my house so that I was expected to sleep in daylight every night. I was exhausted with my lack of sleep, so this package of blackout lining for my new curtains arrived in perfect time. It's easy to cut, sew, and hang, and will give greater peace at night when all my sewing is completed. As a note of caution to others in a similar situation, it's so easy to sew a sleeve for a length of cardboard which will lie across the top of the curtain rail, thereby cutting out even more light to give greater comfort.

didn't like the fact that the thread ends couldn't be knotted on the underside which i prefer when sewing curtains.

I like the many "pockets" to attach hooks to - but getting the string out to gather, is a bit difficult as he string is under the pockets, not beside them. A bit of a faff - but the tape is very neat and looks sturdy enough for normal curtains.
