Once I figured out the issue it works good. 2 most important things…1. When first opening the box, you MUST unscrew the 2 mounting screws that sit deep inside the inside knob, then you will be able toPull apart knobs to prepare for install. 2. You Must securely tighten those same mounting screws when attaching outside knob or you'll sit for 1hour and a half thinking you tightened enough wondering whats wrong. So thanks to the guy from another review who clearly had my same issue! These two very important instructions are NOT listed in the manual. Hope this helps. *Also it may be helpful to have a 2nd person assist, depending on your skill set and patience.

I do like this product. My only complaint is you can’t disengage it if you are coming in and out a lot at one time. I put mine on my back door so it can be frustrating.

I purchased this lock in November 2022. I liked how easy it was to install and operating the lock. In fact, I liked it so much that I bought another one for a different door 2 months later. During this 3 month period, I have not had any problems with both locks. What is a bit disappointing is that now I need to change the passcode but I can't find any manufacturer's contact information on Amazon or anywhere on internet to obtain warranty information and operating manual on-line as if this company does not exist. So be aware of this issue. (In case you asked, yes, my handyman "borrowed" the instructions that came with the locks after he saw them)

Idk what’s going on with my doorknob it works fine fit about a week it will need a finger the next week it lets everyone in no password no finger needed anyone can get it I don’t like that I got it for the sole purpose to keep people out of my room because all of my collectibles and things that are breakable or in my room it works perfect for about a week and then it just stops all of a sudden one week it will need a password fingerprint and it won’t let nobody in unless they have access then the next week it will let everybody and I don’t know what’s going on. Please help me explain this to me. What’s going on? What do I have to do to fix it because I’ve already had to reset it twice and then I’ve had to go back and add everybody’s fingerprint and the password all over again

During the unboxing and programming I was very impressed with the solid build quality, heavy steel construction and the abundance of advanced unlocking options. However, my copy of the lock is now stuck most of the time in a locked state, with the inside knob locked with no way to open the door. The scary part is it everything worked fine during the initial testing, and all the electronics test good. The lock fails randomly about half of the time, but this could go undetected if the lock is not operated often. It could be installed and work fine for a while, then randomly fail and seal the door shut from the inside! Better to have it fail to lock than to fail to unlock!Update: October 16, 2021I took another look at this lock as I was preparing to send it back. The defect was not as bad as I originally thought, but it is a general design defect, not just a manufacturing defect for my copy of this lock. The two screws to secure the inside knob to the rest of the lock set both need to be tightened completely, or the loosened screw head(s) could protrude into the knob preventing it from turning to open the door (much like a pin in a tumbler of a cylinder lock). If both screws are tightened down even and flush, then things should be ok, but they can come loose on their own over time. To tighten, the design of this lock requires the inside knob to be disassembled with a screwdriver first, then requires a full sized (not stubby) Philips head screwdriver to access and tighten the screw(s). All of this may seem to be a minor point, but not something to deal with in an emergency. At least consider using Loc Tite on the screws as you assemble it.

This is a very sturdy lock. I just installed mine yesterday evening so this review is premature. Installing was a bit difficult. The instructions are not not thorough from the beginning. You have to take the cap off, unscrew the battery compartment, take that out and then unscrew the two screws inside. You can now slide the two sides apart to access the latch. From here you follow the instructions. Two hours later we figured it out, don't understand why you would leave this out of the instructions. Will update review after a few weeks.UPDATE: Four months after install we have had no issues with the lock. It functions as expected and keeps the children out of our room. We are pleased with this purchase and will be purchasing a second one. I would not recommend this lock for anyone that has an issue like arthritis. The knob is very large and you have to grip it firmly to turn it.

When I first bought this handle everything set up great and worked perfectly but now all of a sudden two months later, every fingerprint works to open my front door! I now see this in other people’s reviews and I regret getting this door handle. However I did find a solution for those of you who have issues, find a solution, inconvenient one but a solution, if you go into the app and delete the device, hit clear all data, then you can log back in, all your info is still there except fingerprint and password so you will have to redo this.

I absolutely love this! The doorknob I had before locked, but was easily accessible with a coin by my 5 and 3 year old Granddaughters. It was easy to install. Only thing I had to do extra was chip about a half inch off of the hole where the plate goes on the door frame. The rest was a cakewalk. Programming was fast and simple and it stores up to 10 codes ( I only needed one ). Excellent product!
