I had to replace a few deck boards, and rusty screws on my deck. Prior homeowner did a shoddy job, & used painted steel screws. They were all rusting and leaving ugly stains. I always prefer to use stainless anywhere outdoors, even though I am not near water. I used long screws - 3" to pull some warped boards down tight. I had No issue with any screws bending or drives stripping out. It's important to use a good quality accurate sized bit especially if using an impact driver as I was. I do not use the cheap bits that come with screws, use something like Bosch or Milwaukee, etc. These screws worked fine. Some of them applied a lot of force to straighten boards - with no fails.

Just spend the extra for these premium screws. I did an entire deck with colored ones from Lowes that failed after a year. The paint pealed and left everything super squeaky.Deck Plus screws have held up perfectly, installed really well and truly hold strong. I'll continue to use these exclusively.

These screws mostly break off even when you drill a pilot hole. if you try to screw in at an angle they will break. Disappointed!!!!!

Every 3 or 4 screws head wipes out. Bend easily, not strong. Expensive stainless steel screws and made like garbage 👎🏻

Every screw strip out, the 6 I used,wish I had tried sooner so I could return, say away

These screws striped extremely easily and would not pull the wood together right. Had to run to store and buy different harder deck screws.
