Great bike
Our daughter is OBSESSED with all 3 trolls movies, so this was an awesome gift for her. We upgraded from a 14” strider to this as her first pedal bike and it’s been perfect. Was simple enough to put together. The hand brakes are a little hard for her to squeeze but she CAN squeeze them (she’s 4.5 yrs). The bike also DOES stop with backward pedal which is great because she has that option if she can’t squeeze the hand brakes. She’s ridden this bike on concrete/pavement as well as on trails and it’s great. We didn’t use the training wheels so can’t speak to those. I DO wish it had a kickstand. We ordered one from Amazon to add on and it works fine, but wish it had one that matched the color of the bike. Overall 99% satisfied with this bike!

Great price, solid quality, easy to assemble.
So this is to address some of the concerns I had in purchasing this bike based on previous reviews. We didn’t have the optimal tools to assemble this bike and it still took less than about 20 minutes to assemble (its seriously that easy). One complaint I read said- we had to force the brakes open to fit the front tire in. This is only true if you inflate the tire- instead, deflate the tire slightly and squeeze it to slip it between the front brake pads with minimal effort. Don’t inflate the tires until the tire is set and the brakes are in place and functional. Adjusting the brakes was probably the biggest nuisance. Again- it seems like the bike was metric and we have only a standard tool set. Ultimately- I think the bike seems sturdy and arrived about 75% preassembled (a bit foolproof). If you are a single parent and not very handy- don’t fear this bike. Shipping did not damage this in any way. I think 4 Stars is the maximum I will give for now. My goal is to update in a few weeks once our daughter road tests it so we can judge it’s safety, durability, usability and kidfactor. For all the shipping, delivery, assembly and piecework- I would say this has been an excellent choice!Update about 2 months after purchase: we love it! The bike handles very well. She has tipped a few times and it didn’t ruin the bike in any way. My only critique is- if you have a bigger, heavier kiddo, the training wheels are cheap. Plastic and would likely break under pressure. My daughter is light as a feather, so it’s not an issue. Reminder- training wheels are NOT meant to stabilize the bike. They are supposed to be set high so the child rocks and learns to balance on the main wheels. That being said, I would give an extra half star for this bike. 4.5 of 5.

Missing parts and no help
Bought for my daughter. Assembly was great until we got to the handle bars. There was a receiver missing to attach the handle bars to the bike. When I opened a service ticket, Dynacraft sent a new part that did not fix the problem. When I called and told them there was nothing inside the bike to receive the bolt to attach the new part and i was still missing something, they argued it was the right part and would fix the issue. I assured them it wouldn’t and they hung up on me. After calling back a couple times and being hung up on, I finally got someone on the phone again. They continued to interrupt me while I was trying to tell them what was wrong, then told me I should just return the bike. It’s been two weeks my daughter has been dying to ride this bike, waiting for a part to fix it so she could enjoy. Now I’m having to do a return on a bike and have a bummed out kid. Save yourself the trouble and don’t buy Dynacraft
