Streamlight 65006 Stylus 3-AAAA LED Pen Light, Black with Red Beam

I'm a nurse. I've been using these lights for over ten years now. They are fantastic. They're perfect for lighting up a room just enough to see without waking patients. They also work great assessing eye movement. The patient can look at the tip without being blinded. But, by far, the best use for them is as a vein finder. If you press the tip lightly against the skin it is so easy to see veins that you can not see otherwise. I use this daily on my job. With the price of batteries I just order a new light every time the batteries go dead. They usually last more than two years. I've used them until the side are just worn smooth. LOL. Now to address the 1 star reviews. 8% of the reviews are 1 star. Nearly all of them give it one star because it is not a laser. So that means that 8% of people are not smart, or do not read. Nowhere does this device claim to be a laser. It also clearly states that it is 2 lumens. That is not very bright. If you need something bright, or something that is a laser, this is not it. Next is for the people who say you have to hold the button for the light to stay on. They're wrong also. Just twist the back and the light stays on. The button is for intermittent light. That's in the instructions also. So they fall right into that 8% group.

Very sturdy reliable light. Only negative is you can't turn it on and the light stays, you need to continuously hold the on button down. But it's great quality and this is my 3rd time buying this same flashlight.

It works really well. I can see fairly clearly in my patrol unit or small spaces. Admittedly I intended to use this as a stimulus for DWI investigations, but I pretty much just use it as a normal light in my unit.
