Good unit for the price
This unit works great for spotting any size animal out to 500 yards for sure and bigger animals even farther.

affordable and usable at a basic level
The media could not be loaded. This is my first Thermal viewing scope. I'm impressed with the refresh rate, my fear was this would be a slide show, but it's not. I'm also impressed with the build quality. Rubberized skin over a hard shell. Only one port - securely sealed - and there is a tripod mount. I like the build in lens cover for the front lens. I'm an old school photographer and this feels like it will hold up well in the field. I included a quick video of my Bambu Lab 3d printer extruding some PLA. Hand held shot, sorry. I'd like to get and review a good spotting scope tripod soon. I'll also include some video in the future of wildlife in my secret camping spots here in AZ. Can't wait to see how the javalina and mountain lions appear! Downside is the field of view is very narrow. I was expecting this for the price, I'm still impressed for the price to quality value. Someday when I save up, I'd like to review one of the upper tier scopes. But for an entry into my self reliance stash, this is a good investment.

Works great for the price.
This has been a lot of fun to use. I no longer hunt, but still love wildlife viewing. Both my wife and I are avid birdwatchers. Although still quite new, we have had it out on a ten day camping trip and used it quite a bit. We were able to see some raptors in the trees at nite, and were surprised to see how much fields and clearings came alive at night with rodents. I won’t suggest that you can ID a bird from what you see, as the resolution is to low for that, but it does allow you to find them and then bring binoculars or spotting scope to bear on them. I would really love a chance to try out a higher resolution unit to see what I’m missing, but this is a great value in my book. Even my wife who is harder to excite on things like this loves using it.

good value for the money
This is not my first ATN thermal. I have the ATN LT thermal scope as well and monocular is basically the same as the scope, but with more upgrades. If you purchase these, don't expect a $1500.00 or $2000.00 thermal monocular. These are an entry level thermal. If you want to be able to observe people or larger animals up to about 200 yds. these are fine. I was able to see a rabbit at about 75 yds. without any problems although it was not very clear... if you a more detailed image, you will have to get off your wallet!

Works as expected
Clear picture for finding coyotes and foxes. Not as clear as my thermal scope, but you can spot the animals and tell what they are at long distances Easy to focus in for your eyes

Awesome
Exactly what I needed! We have neighbors that become prowler at night. Now ai can see them coming but they can't see the sling shot until it's too late!
