I bought these to top up my personal apothecary and kitchen. These are great quality for both culinary and herbal medicinal uses.

So,I finally got around to using this and made some tea with it to help with sleep. I think I use too many strips. I use three or four strips in mine, but it was so bitte it was hard to swallow. But that's great the bitter it is the better the quality. The next time I made it I use a bigger container and cooked it. It wasn't as bitter and it also again helped me have great sleep.

Found a recipie to double extract these rieshi mushrooms. My wife has psoriatic arthritis and the elixir really does ease her pain. She puts a tablespoon in her coffee every morning. The extraction is really easy. Place mushrooms in a Mason jar and fill(almost) with any alcohol over 80 proof. We use bourbon, but vodka is probably more flavorless. Leave this mix sealed in the jar for 60 days, shaking every day. It's OK if you forget here and there. After the time is up, strain and reserve. Take these same reishi and simmer them in 2 quarts of water for 2 hours. A very low simmer works best and can always add more water if it reduces too quickly. But you want a yield in equal to the alcohol. Let it cool then simply mix the water extract and the alcohol extract. It's super shelf stable from the alcohol and does not need refrigeration. Use at your own risk, but I will say that we do use it daily and it's super effective. This package can easily give 8-10 quarts of elixir.

Almost every piece which isn’t just the straight slice, in other words if it has the base of the shroom, it will have plastic embedded in the piece. Buyer beware. I’ve already given it to my 15 yr old for a month now. Really seems like they can’t do an iota of quality control . Is it that they don’t bother to look or they just don’t care?

This was perfect to cut up and use to make both tea and tinctures.

Great for making mushroom coffee and although the taste is a little too strong and earthy for my liking the benefits are wonderful. All natural immune booster, helps shrink cysts and fight .
