What appears as a silly toy/game for kids actually was recommended by our occupational therapist to help my son with hand strength. So we play with those often and it never ceases to amuse us... as well as helping him get stronger. You can place the ball gently in and it comes out with little pressure. Or stuff it further in, and it takes more force to shoot. Comes with 6 balls. Of course, keeping track of the balls after you shoot them can be tricky. Love the options of a pig, a cow, etc.

I use this toy as an example of the Heimlich Maneuver. You can't do it on a "real" person..so fake training doesn't work for me....Explaining the physics of why it works with a touch of humor makes this a fun toy

This is our 4th popper. We have a special needs son who likes to play with them so we got enough for the family to battle it out. Easier to press than the dragon.

I bought 4 of these little popper things for my office so we can shoot each other with them during stressful times. We found that if you shove the ball into the mouth snugly, and then pound it as hard as you can, it will come out faster and harder. It will shoot out at 10ft distance even! However, we also found that if you shove the ball too deep into the mouth, it may get stuck and you have to wriggle it a bit, perhaps pound it a bit harder, and the ball will pop out although not impressively. If this happens, do not shove your fingers in the mouth alongside the ball in an attempt to retrieve, it was not designed to expand and may even rip. Overall, great product!

Cute product. not well designed. Not enough power to encourage cat to join the fun.

My 2 year old daughter saw this toy at a friend's place and didn't want to let go. She loved the popper. I got her cow and pig one and she enjoys playing with these.The balls are soft and light. They are large enough not to fit into her mouth, which is a great plus! When my daughter got sick and we were staying at home, this toy provided great entertainment. We were both playing with it.It is very easy to clean. Occasionally my daughter takes her popper into the bath and plays with it. So the popper works as a bath toy too. :-) Though I never allow her to take the balls into the bathtub.
