John Pearse 160SL Acoustic 80/20 Bronze Wound, Slightly Light

I was very very surprised by the quality and sound of these strings. 20+years playing with many other brands including more expensive coated strings and bought these after seeing some YouTube reviews. The sound is superb very well balanced and the hold a perfect tune after one good stretch. Very well balanced and haven’t had any annoying string squeak. The action is very smooth with these strings in this gauge.

I like the sound and the quality of the strings.Very playable with good tones.I recommend them.

The G string had a loud ping to it, but it played itself out in less than a week. Great tone and projection.

Good warm sound. Don't last as long as some. Hard to find a string warm enough for my HD28 but these did the trick.
