John Pearse Strings Strings Strings for Hawaii-Guitar/Lap Steel (Joh-6964)

Very happy with this purchase. Felt the price was right, so ordered two sets and paid no additional shipping fee. Package arrived in a timely fashion.Strings were in good shape. (no rust, as I have seen reported on other brands in other reviews.) Strings are flat wound, which is great. After stretching them out they have stayed perfectly in tune. Would recommend this brand.I am teaching myself to play lap steel, and didn't want to spend a lot on an instrument I didn't know how to play so purchased an inexpensive, used mini electric guitar to use as a beginner instrument (picture attached.). I up and running for under $50. So if anyone is interested in going that route, these strings work great for that type of application.

Nice strings but the wound strings are so sharp the were wearing the chrome off my slide. That may be due to the bad chrome on the slide. The strings sound fine but I prefer John Morral Strings. These strings were expensive compared to other options. Very nice but I would not purchase them again.

Refurbished a steel guitar. Use this set for C6 tuning. They worked great and seem smooth and a good price. I am a beginner at guitar playing.

They are lap steel strings.

This was a first time trying John Pearse strings. Out of the six strings, one sleeve had a wrong gauge string and two of the same strings for the top two. Sorry, this is a one and done.
