This carrier/vest is high quality & priced great !
I was looking for another plate carrier/tactical carrier for my newest level IV plates and I wanted one with side panel pouches for 6X8 plates as well as mag pouches for my AR-14 / M4 magazines & pistol magazines included in the purchase which work and fit great. Side panel pockets and extra magazine/utility pouches are also a great addition . The velcro and stitching are all top notch and very rugged and well done/made .The GLORYFIRE tactical vest carrier caught my interest after seeing the quick release shoulder & cumberbund releases ~ as well as the design and magazine pouch arrangements all in 1 package .I own several different Armor carriers and plates and this GLORYFIRE unit fits ALL my needs excellently. The quick release buckle/connectors work effortlessly even when the mag pouches and molle attachments are laden with gear to complete this kit .The guide loops on the shoulder straps help to route my camel back irrigation system hose & the vest is very sturdy and rugged( even with a full load ). The mesh backing works well in hot and cold weather conditions ~ even with hard level IV armor , and the double plate velcro straps (inside the carrier pockets) secure armor very well under rough and strenuous movement and field use .I have carriers that cost twice what the GLORYFIRE carrier cost and they are nowhere as good as the GLORYFIRE . I'd recommend this vest/carrier wholeheartedly and without reservation. The price is unbeatable, the quality is superb and the fit and function are perfect .I'm 5'7" 127 lbs. and it's a perfect fit with 5 minutes of adjustment right outta the box. Brothers of mine bought the same carrier after seeing mine and they are all 5'8" to 6' plus ~ and alot heavier, and it fits smaller men like myself and them just great . This carrier/tactical vest is an awesome high quality unit ,loaded with features,it has a unique quick release system that works with a full kit loaded and priced WAY below the others.Mine is camo and I'm gonna buy another in black .Buy this unit and you'll be very happy .

4 stars quality plus 1 star for value
This is not a bad carrier for the price. Material is soft enough and comes with fairly decent features like drag handle, fuzzy panel on both front and back for name tape and rank, mag pouches. internal hold straps along with the external flap that will hold the plates up towards the top (something my most recent carrier purchase did not have), quick release works good as long as you learn how to use it. My only complaint is that the side plate pouch, for one the flap is too long for 6x6s, but I guess if you use 6x8 it would fit better. Most of all the location of the side plate pouch, it's towards the rear of the body, but it's a major design flaws of these quick release carriers, as you stand in shooting position, there is a 3 inch gap between your front plate and the side plate, which is now DIRECTLY facing forward toward enemy fire... I guess if some one shot you from 4 to 8 o'clock when you are facing forward, you're covered... Personally I would rather that gap be towards the back of the body as chances are enemy fire is more likely coming from the forward facing directions

Seems well made and durable. Will need at least dummy plates to properly fit the average person
The nylon is thick and high quality, this is not flimsy material and will need to be broken in to soften it and smooth it out. Stitching is stout, hook & loop is heavy duty. Anybody who knows how to properly weave MOLLE gear knows the webbing goes through alot of stress during the weaving process and the stitching has held up well through multiple attachments and re-attachments. The first week I got it, I loaded it down with as much stuff as I could and went on some runs with it to test its strength and break it in, I'm not seeing any stitching issues and there are no hot spots that chafe (granted you're able to get it tight to your body so it doesn't bounce around ). If you are a thin guy this will not adjust small enough to fit you tightly without at least dummy plates in it, I'm 6'0 200lbs with a relatively large chest, a bit of a beer belly, and a 36" waist; and without plates the waist straps are at the shortest length in order to fit somewhat tight around my mid-section, but not tight enough to keep the vest from bouncing when running, its loose around my chest with no real way to tighten around chest (unless plates are put in), and the cummerbund is loose on me unless I overlap each end of it over one another which adds small bit of girth due to the overlapping material and leaves less Velcro for the main front flap to attach to though the Velcro grabs very well so it won't come undone, but this keeps the front flap from seating fully causing the unsecured edges to stick out and get hung up on stuff like a sling. With all 4 plates in it, the cummerbund fits properly so that the front flap is able to fully utilize the entire surface area of Velcro, and the chest area feels good and secure. So unless you're pretty overweight, you'll at least need dummy plates in it for it to fit. So far I'm happy with it, especially for the price, since I bought it as a home defense plate carrier, and I'm look forward to putting it through the paces for further review.

Solid basic plate carrier. Will do it's job.
After comparing so many vests at so many brand names and different prices, I decided to go with this basic one. It is of good quality and good materials. It will do the job as good as a $700 vest! I built a couple of rigs with Level IV plates. With that said, here are the pros and cons: PROS: - This Carrier can hold 4 plates! 2 large 12" front and back, and 2 smaller 6x6 side plates! Side plate holder can accommodate slightly larger 7" side plates variations. - 4 Quick release latches for quick removal and seem to be of strong material and working fine - Easy to set up. Its pretty much setup and you just have to adjust it. Get familiar with the MOLLE gear system so you know how to attach the accessory pouches correctly. CONS: - Only 1! - The vest can use a bit more padding under the shoulder straps. Once you get it fully loaded with weight, it can feel like they dig into you a bit. But this is what you get for this price. The more expensive ones are more comfortable. But you can be crafty and pad them yourself with adding soft padding material to the shoulder straps. - Untested - Reliability/durability. So far, so good. Seems like it of good quality and the buckles and quick releases are working well. But I have not had it long enough to test this yet. I will update this review if anything starts going wrong with it. Great deal for the price so far! I do recommend it.

Great for bigger guys!
If you're a big guy like me (6'2, 310lbs) you know it can be a pain finding a vest that fits. I saw this one reviewed on YouTube from somebody who's opinion I trusted, and took the plunge. So far I'm VERY happy with the purchase. Looks great. Appears well made. Seems to be very strongly constructed. I found the cumberbund to be a little tight, so I removed it and run it just with straps on the sides for easier breathing. As I get into better shape, I might reconsider, but I'm fine without for now. It says its intended for to carry 10"x12", but I find that it easily holds the 11"x14" I need for my larger frame. About the only downside I can think of, is that the real estate on the front fills up fast with pouches and whatnot. But that's probably just the way it goes with vests in general. I don't think you'll do any better anywhere else. Forgive the bad lighting in my picture. Everything blends together color wise better than it looks. Those are multicam pouches. Great vest at half the cost of many alternatives. Highly recommend. Would buy again.

Vest exceeded my expectations in every way!
Extremely well made vest with strong, durable, thick material! The buckles are quick realease but of a hard plastic so we will see how long the buckles last but even if they break they can be replaced with steel/metal buckles. Over all extremely pleased with this product with all the compartments and accessory holders and adjustable shoulder straps. Has pockets to hold heavy duty plates both front and back and side plates on belt band. Quick shipping too. I would definately reccomend this vest for purchase to others.

READ; SMALL AND BIG USERS
I'm 5'4, 120 pounds, and consider myself petite. At least for something made for the masculine demographic. Out of the box it was too large around my waist and I was a little disheartened by this fact. But not to worry! After fiddling around with it, I found two points that are adjustable to suit anyone that's wearing it. In the front, the quick release tabs are detachable by velcro. Simply remove them and move them inwards. Downside, however, is that it depletes the use of the quick release in that spot. In the back, if you snake the waist part through the part that's holding it to the vest, you can detach the rope holding it together and snake it through any of the points in the line. Downside, again, if you make it smaller the options to add more pouches decreases the more you go in. Otherwise, this vest is of exceptional quality for the price. It looks to hold up against rough conditions, and will make its use for whatever you using it for. Be it airsoft, paintball, or real life scenarios. Would definitely recommend and will be buying again!

80% great
I had some reservations about the plate carrier. its not the easiest thing to get perfectly fitted. I have worn some really good plate carriers in my day, easy to cinch down and stow the straps, but this is a total off the body fitment to get right, a lot of tear down, minor adjustments, reassembly and trials. Its a bit of a hassle but once you get it right, its actually pretty good. HOWEVER, I do actually use lv4 plates in my carriers (front rear AND sides) and this one is really weird. Usually side plates are worn right off the side of the front plate to give you maximum frontal coverage, but this side plate carrier is non-adjustable and is set mid to back orientation, and the reason why is for extra mag storage? So its modular in front (where to connects to the front of the armor) you can add whatever you want to that area in a molle pattern. but it boggles my mind that the side plate pouch isnt modular as well. IF you have side plates, they absolutely should be right off the quick release, or at least a modular pouch so you can put the armor plate where it definitely should go.

Great Vest so far. Will be overseas next month to give it a proper go.
Simple but solid. All straps are still working and feels solid. Running with a gunbelt so I can move a little off the vest for bulk reasons. Will update as my adventures allow.
