They work
I bought these because I'm selling some of my old books and needed packaging.These do fit some of my books but if you have big books they won't fit. My smaller books like the enemy by charlie higson or the one dollar horse (I don't remember the author) both fit but I had books like fourth wing and other big books which just wouldn't fit.They're very easy to use and are good quality with being thick-ish and quite light so not to add too much extra weight for shipping.The adhesive strip works well and is very handy.Overall it definitely is a good value for money.

Secure, Stackable, Packable
Great envelopes, very easy to pack and very easy to seal by simply peeling the strip and pressing.The A1 envelopes I bought can fit cases for DVDs and blu-rays and will hold them securely. They come under Royal Mail Large Letter.BUT BEWARE THE SIZES. Be aware that the A1, A2, etc. sizes are NOT the same as the paper sizes and are also NOT the same as the common terms for Baronial Envelopes. So read the product description for the sizing information! Note that the given sizes are for the envelopes unpacked/flat.A1 for example is actually about the size of a dvd length-wise (+ a few cm) and maybe 1-2 inches larger width-wise.

Now what I received
The product on the ad images is a thick, expandable cardboard envelop, similar to what Amazon uses, that could hold several e.g. magazines or even books as the ad images show. What I received was a pack of thin, non-expandable envelop that only can hold one single magazine if it's only a couple of pages. That is simply a false listing.

Exactly as advertised
Good product at a decent price. Didn't give full marks though, as they are delivered in a plastic envelope, so some of the corners were damaged during shipping.

Haven't used these yet but have put addresses on them. Seem to be exactly what I ordered.
Using these envelopes to mail CDs. They look to be the right size and sturdiness. Useful peel and seal strip.
